Courtyard by Marriott Long Beach Downtown

Great no complaints everything was perfect !

I've been a Marriott fan/rewards member for years. I just stayed there over the 4th of July 2026 weekend. The staff was great, helpful, and very informative. The hotel was clean inside and out. Keep in mind this is a downtown location, so parking is a little packed. They do have their own parking, but it's pay-to-park. But if you can swing it, I recommend parking with the hotel. If you can't, try getting a street spot in front of the hotel. It's pay-to-park on the street. There are a good amount of breakfast spots, bars, and restaurants nearby. Also, they do have a great restaurant attached to the hotel. All in all, it was a great stay. Thank you, Courtyard staff.

Staff was super friendly and location was convenient for nearby shopping and beach access (if you dare to go to the filthy Long Beach). Lots of options of nearby restaurants. And staff was super friendly and helpful! The coffee in the lobby was only available in the morning, hence the 4 stars, but when asked, they happily provided extra coffee and amenities for our room. Beds and pillows were comfortable, room nice and dark and quiet. Best elevators we’ve been on in a long time, smooth and quick. And staff was amazing - especially Sage!

Room is clean and nice. We had an issue with previously booked (thru third party) parking which the hotel did not have solution for. If you are planning to park here when going on a Carnival cruise I would not recommend. The Hyatt regency is MUCH better.

Very nice hotel ,Steven/Steve was such a delight he was so helpful in assisting with early check in even though they were sold out for the weekend. Everything was perfect no complaints

Perfect weather great location.

There was construction at the pool. You could hear everything through the walls. It was so loud at all hours.

Otherwise everything else was great.

Said there was a continental breakfast included but there was not

Great location, clean room, friendly staff, secure parking garage. Everything I needed in the Long Beach area.

Was not informed of the parking fee.

When I checked in for 3 nights the rate was fair until they check you in and you also pay 100 dollars a day for "incidental hold" which is also ok figuring you dont damage anything ect. What they dont tell you is you pay 30 dollars a day for a resort fee. That comes direct out of that incidental charge plus taxes. Instead of charging the "resort" fee as a nightly fee included in the cost of the room. Charged 2 sodas too the room and bag of chips. Returned 90 dollars of the 300. "Incidental hold" absolutely misrepresented at check in. Marriott has always been great to me but man this was shady in my opinion
