Clean and great location.

Very nice week at Hotel Mai, love the rooms, very quiet hotel for the most part, sauna was super useful for me, two peletons a couple of treadmills and some free weights get the job done in the gym. Pool is small but adequate, jacuzzi was solid, staff was helpful. Location is amazing for me, I Love the city vibes and the Downtown Long Beach energy.

If you want an ultra-minimalist experience, that's your place. Overall, the place feels very cold and ob obnoxiously white - scuffed white walls everywhere with zero decorations. Easy parking.

Was missing microwave.

Todo muy limpio y la vista muy hermosa 👌

The location is very bad for a hotel and is very noisy, I don’t recommend it.

I spent most of the time in the room sweating and overheated. I had to purchase a fan just to be comfortable. Plus, in order for the room to get power you have to insert the key card in a slot by the door so the air was turned off the whole time and the blinds to the windows were all open making the room extremely hot. I was looking forward to relaxing in the pool but it was an indoor pool that shared the same space with the sauna and steam room which made the entire room hot. The pool wasn’t even cool enough to cool down from the heat. Just being in the pool room I felt like I was going to pass out. Then our room key had somehow got unmagnetized twice! There’s no staff at the front desk all the time because we had to wait for them to come back. If you don’t like a hot room and need a cold refreshing pool to relax in, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel. Especially in the summer.

Huge hot tub!

Everything was good except the shower water wouldn’t get hot

Hotel was nice and convenient to everything downtown. Unfortunate how much homeless there are all around the downtown.

The hotel had a “must meet the grand opening date” feel to it. There were amenities that checked the box but nothing spectacular. It was an overpriced budget hotel at $300/night. Parking check in was via a Google doc. Steam room had cheap neon lights. Workout room had four machines, a few weights, and a really sad look to it. Hallways had a patchy paint job. Showers were cold (which was fine since it was so hot). A/C worked great. Limited parking spots inside the building.

The water was not hot. The “clients” around the property was questionable.

Room was spacious and hotel was a short walk to the aquarium. Would be great if they provided breakfast but restaurants were nearby.

Yogi was excellent at check in, very accommodating! This is a European style hotel. I am a 5 star hotel girl and this property mirrors a top-notch experience without the high cost. Hot tub, steam room, and sauna!?!?!? Pool!!!!! The room was so clean and having the balcony was so sweet. This is a hidden gem and I did not want to write a review to keep it for myself. The only recommendation I would have is paint the walls in the hall because they were dirty. White walls so that would be a given. Also add simple decor. A coffee or juice stand would be cute with light refreshments would make this sooooo European. We are coming back for the Olympics, and this will be my hotel.
