Vagabond Inn Long Beach

There continental break was terrible. Only toast and coffee. The worst excuse for breakfast I have ever seen at a hotel. The floor of the room was dirty and the paint was peeling in the bathroom. This place is awful. Avoid staying there.

Cons: no fridge or microwave, iron or hair dryer; mold in bathtub I parked near the rear stairwell so I primarily used that, and it was filthy. I’ve stayed in worse budget motels but not sure I’d return. The front desk did allow me to use the microwave in the breakfast room, which I appreciated.

It was nice and clean had a great night sleep

Room had many cockroaches, random hairs on bed and odd smell. Requested different room and was denied as “they are all the same.” I requested refund and that was denied as well. I put my bag back in car and drove home. I did not spend the night at this filthy hotel. Absolute waste of money for a room I could not use.

Great, clean room, ac very cold, parking gets full right away get there early. Very lovely people in the front that help get people checked in pretty fast. It's a hotel on the cheap end so it has ware and tear but it gets the job done. Lots of homeless outside but they stay across the streets.

Dirty!

Walking distance from the beach and convention center. The complimentary breakfast is fresh and tasty; the coffee provided is very good. The staff is super friendly and considerate. The property is ADA friendly and well maintained considering it seems like an older property. The room was cleaned by someone that takes pride in their work and it shows, the air conditioning is fantastic, the beds are comfortable, and we deeply appreciated the parking on site. We've stayed at other Inns that we will never return to, but this one is nothing like the rest. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The staff was very rude and the hallway smell like mode

Car got broken into in the parking lot. Told the front desk and was told the cameras didn’t work. No mini fridge. The pictures are a lot nicer on here than they actually look. Both rooms the toilets didn’t work properly. Our bathroom door didn’t even close all the way

Booked last minute. This hotel had a great personality. It's old, sure. But that added to the charm

Definitely needs an update and it was not clean at all

This was a fine place to stay. Nothing special. It's quite an old building, but the rooms are clean and everything worked as I needed. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked, and I was able to take a shower. Definitely delivers on the basic necessities in a really convenient area to explore Long Beach. The one negative I think of is you can hear everything, from footsteps above you, discussion in the hallway, and noise/traffic from the street below.

No pool. Staff is okay. I think they need to update their rooms and add in a fridge / microwave

Bugs in the picture frames but walking distance from the venue so whatever. Also ran out of parking, we were lucky enough to find a spot on the street but lots of guests not happy about that part.

Staff rude and unhelpful property is unacceptable and health risk breakfast expired food roaches in room mold in restroom doors not lockable and unsafe. I will be informing Expedia to remove for site. As well as Better Business Bureau as well as health department. Vaga hotel in long Beach should be dismantled
