If you have slightly more money, may want to go to a hotel with a gym & business center if you’re here to get work done & exercise in between.
-
very good everyone was nice
-
Property overcharged me for a room and then said it’s my fault
-
Room was clean and staff was very kind. A little noisy and Didn’t like the surrounding area of the hotel.

It's fine for what it is. I've never lived in a shelter but it gives shelter vibes to me. It was within budget at the time so again, it's fine for what it is.

It’s a good choice

Hotel clean and very close to the metro station. Only 10 min from Manhattan. The neighborhood is a little bit scary but I’ve never felt in real danger. Definitely suggested if you want to have a budget while staying close to Manhattan

Bottle water is for sale which should be complimentary.

Very comfortable stay

The place was clean, no smoking, no smell of smoke. Staff was nice and helpful. Only one issue, there was a small leak under the bathroom sink that took 2 days to fix, even though, the leak was noticed and the staff was informed on a Saturday, wasn't fixed til Monday. I would still go back and stay with them again.

My friend and I (women, early 20s) found this hotel on Expedia bc it's listed as being in Williamsburg. We wanted a safe, affordable option w/ easy commute to Brooklyn. After reading the good reviews and researching Williamsburg, we booked 4 nights. After arriving, we realized the hotel is actually 2 miles from Williamsburg. Walking from the subway on 40th Avenue, we were on an unsafe street filled with sketchy people blasting music, smoking weed, using drugs, and loitering. We felt unsafe, and even witnessed a police arrest. No one bothered us bc we minded our own business. After an Uber driver warned we were in "the projects", we saw that the Queensbridge Houses were located on 40th Ave, a public housing project w/ high gang activity in the 80s, explaining the sketchy area. We called the front desk to cancel our last 2 nights. They said we'd receive a call from the manager Michael the next morning, (never did!). We found a way to completely avoid 40th Ave, taking other streets (still unsafe) to the subway. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms looked newly renovated(likely recent due to previous complaints of weird stains, bugs, etc). The rooms are nice but walls are thin and it felt like a hostel. Luckily, there were police on 40th Ave, but we didn't walk after the sun set. If ur a woman, young, have kids, are a solo traveler-DON'T BOOK, this is not good part of LIC!

Not bad just I’m not going again

The hotel is quite good inside, what lowers the quality a little is that near it there are buildings that make it look like a shady neighborhood, but inside the hotel is like any other, if your goal is to get to know the city without spending so much, it is an excellent option since it is close to the subway and you can move quickly, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, for a next visit

I really like the hotel. Nice and clean and not too far from where I had to go. The front clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Clean and friendly staff. What we needed for a night's stay. Only one thing we would have enjoyed better is having some kind of coffee available on site.

Excellent Facility

Economical

Everything was fine. Could have used a microwave, but no biggie. Fridge was great. The only complaint I have was loud guests in the hall in the middle of the night, but that’s not really the hotels fault.

Misleading Location The property is marketed as being located in Long Island City. However, as a native New Yorker, I found the description to be misleading. The property’s immediate proximity to the Queensbridge Houses, the Ravenswood Generating Station, and the Green Asphalt recycling facility places it in an area known locally for industrial activity and poor air quality. Had the marketing been more transparent about the exact micro-location, I would have selected alternative accommodations. Room Condition & Comfort The condition of the room was highly disappointing. During our stay, we observed several notable issues: Bathroom: Visible mildew growth. Safety: A smoke detector left hanging precariously by a single wire. Comfort: A bed that squeaked excessively with every movement, paired with incredibly flat, poor-quality pillows. As a result of these factors, both my partner and I experienced a highly uncomfortable and restless stay. Safety Incident The most alarming event occurred during checkout. While we were inside the elevator, an air freshener fixture detached from the ceiling and fell, narrowly missing us. The fixture contained a heavy battery pack and could have caused a serious injury had it struck

Cancelled reservation at 3am morning of stay. Claimed the only available room was double the nightly price.
