It is sparse, though, so it’s just a place to sleep, not hang out. You can hear noise and movement in the halls late at night, which is not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. Luckily, I WAS able to get a decent night’s sleep. Additionally, there is a construction site directly across from the hotel which started jackhammering at 7am on Saturday morning and continued until I left around 1pm. Just be aware and bring ear plugs if that’s a bother to you. The area is next to low income housing and people hang out late at night, but there are also families and people just going about their lives. As long as you’re vigilant, you should be fine. I didn’t have a problem, and I quickly adjusted to walking to and from the subway, even around 10pm. I would just say that the staff shouldn’t announce the room number out loud, just as a precaution and especially for women. However, everyone I encountered was friendly and minded their own business. Overall, I would recommend this as an affordable place to stay if you want to be close to the city.

Staff was super friendly and helpful when we struggled to get a cab. I recommended to my family and friends. It is also only 15 min drive to Manhattan. Would definitely stay there again.

The stay was great! very quiet. the location is a little scary but felt very safe once inside the hotel. had an issue with my air conditioner but was rectified within minutes of arrival!

At 9:30 this morning, a Latin American woman knocked on my room and asked me when I would check out? This woman is really unqualified. She knocked on my room208 door so early. What do you want to do? I was still sleeping, and you had seriously affected my mood throughout the day.She is a bad person

The staff was friendly, and was willing to help me out with the problems I was having. Moved room along with my stuff without my consent. I lost a few reciepts that I was unable to recover. Contacted the management team with no help. I also lost my $100 deposit due to staff not recording the fact that I have paid them in cash. Contacted management team again, with no reply. Overall would not recommend.

I've stayed here twice before and the hotel was pleasant enough for a short stay. However, this time my experience wasn't as positive. I stayed for 5 days, 1 of which the WiFi was completely down for the whole day. The other 4 days the WiFi had very weak signal, perhaps because I was on the 7th floor. I also asked the staff for extra pillows and they assured me that this would be provided but nothing was given. I'm not unsure if I'll be staying here next time I come

Everything is okay. But the bed is making some noise. No wifi at night during our stay. Friendly staff.

I would not stay here again

It’s right down the street from the housing project, but I felt like home. There is a bodega on the corner and a lot of places to eat in the surrounding area.

Very disappointing stay. The listing was for two queen beds, and both were full size. There was chewed gum stuck to the wall in the bathroom, and the cleaning staff never came to our room. The hair dryer was completely broken, and we had to repeatedly ask for clean towels. Our room keys would randomly deactivate and leave us locked out of our room until someone at the front desk could reactivate them, but if they were checking in another person that could take upwards of 20 minutes. When I pressed them for information as to why this was the case, they said it was a "security feature". There wasn't even a key reader in the elevators, so it felt like a cheap excuse. All in all extremely disappointing, will definitely Not be staying here again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE — I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! The parking situation is absolutely horrible. You have to wake up early just to move your vehicle, otherwise you risk getting towed. So if you’re thinking about sleeping in and actually getting some rest in the morning, THINK AGAIN! The ice machine is all the way in the basement, which is extremely inconvenient. The floor in my room was sticky, and the bed was honestly a nightmare. You can’t make the slightest movement without it squeaking loudly. 😩 Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I’ve never actually taken the time to write a hotel review before, but I felt this experience was bad enough that I had to say something. I would not recommend staying here. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else!
