I stay in several of the hotels in the vicinity of Court Square in Long Island City, and I would rate Even Hotel very highly!
-
The front staff, Veronica and Douglas, were extremely courteous and helpful. Both of them made us feel very welcome. Hotel is located close to a subway station which made maneuvering around Manhattan very convenient.
-
A/c didn't work. A fan was placed in our room instead of fixing the A/c
-
Unfortunately, one of the days that we were away from the room for 12 hours, the maid didn't shut the door properly when she left after cleaning. Our door was left open and exposed the entire day we were out. Management apologized but hasn't done more.

Room was extremely clean, and I loved the workout equipment provided. The shower was big with excellent water pressure. I loved this room!

Overall, the environment is safe and clean. The only thing I'd like to complain is the cable (TV) had been out of service for4 days! We not only missed the final of the World Cup (FIFA), but had to rely only mobile phone to keep up with the game. It's a pity that the front desk manager only said, "We're sorry for that"!

The neighborhood was fantastic. The staff were all so friendly. We would definitely stay there again

awsome front desk quick service

Unfortunately I booked for July 8 and 9 when it should have been for 10 and 11th. They were not able to accommodate me because they said they were booked.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Compact accommodations as expected in NYC but convenient to multiple subway lines and Queensboro Bridge. Good food options nearby (including the superb Manducatis, great Chinese restaurant options, and closer staples). Great stay

The breakfast was poor

Great Hotel, it was so easily accessible witht he public transport, it was clean, and the shower was awesome! Our highlight was Douglas from the Reception, he made our stay even better - he had tons of helpful suggestions! We had a lovely stay indeed. We felt like home on the first day. I can only recommend. When we come back to New York, we will stay here again. <3

What a great find! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was larger than expected for the NYC area. Great location close to Greenpoint. Area was very walkable. Rooftop area is lovely. We didn’t eat/drink there, but on a nice day that would have been very nice. We will definitely stay there again.

Location and availability of services in the neighborhood. The room with king bed was very very small even for two people. Rooms have hard flooring and virtually no carpeting, but no slippers were provided; this forced us to walk across the floor bare feet and get into bed with dirty feet. The floor was not very clean as I evidenced with my white socks. The staff was not reachable at the front desk via room phone after 11PM. I had to call the hotel through the outside line to reach them! Housekeeping would not consistently provide floor towel for the shower; I had to resort to using a bath towel for that. The restaurant upstairs leaves much to be desired. They are adequate but not very good.

Good location in LIC, close to several subways stations, downtown LIC, and the water front. The highlight of the stay was the friendly staff. Douglas at the front desk made me feel like at home, I would consider returning just for the friendly staff. The breakfast is served by friendly staff as well, at a nice room at the top floor. Took a bit long for the shower to have warm water in my room.

The room was truly tiny and hard to move around for two people. You would have to remove the chair in order to get by between the bed and the desk. That was the only minus.
