Aloft by Marriott Long Island City-Manhattan View

Would have been nice to have 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby. Nice room though.

It was good. Room was slightly different than what we assumed it was going to be like. We got a handicap accessible shower , view was not manhattan view and they asked for a $200 security deposit on top of cost of room for one night. Breakfast was complimentary. It was good as rated.

Very close to the subway. Lots of food choices around. There was nothing I didn’t like

Great place to stay if you need to be in the Long Island City part of Queens. Convenient to Manhattan via Uber or Subway. The gym in the hotel is perfect to get some exercise also conveniently open 24hrs and very clean. Equipment is enough to get the job done.

A nice option for a less expensive hotel in the NYC area. Very close to subway and bus, tons of food places and cafes in walking distance. I enjoyed time on the roofdeck; there was also nice space available on the first floor, and complimentary coffee in the morning.

Room size

Really spacious room. I liked the open bathroom layout as a door usually gets in the way. Felt very clean and had TWO desks/plenty of table room. Lots of lounge area and work tables on the main floor with outlets. Nice staff. V close to MTA station and a lot of LIC food options/luxury buildings, so felt safe. Not really a complaint but I wish there was liquid hand soap.

Great location, helpful staff and comfortable room. They allowed us check in as early as 11AM which for me was fantastic. They were very flexible.
