Q4 Hotel & Hostel

I’ve stayed at the Q4 over 300 times in the last 8 years. I keep coming back for three reasons: the staff, the cleanliness, and the location. The team here goes above and beyond. Argentes is exceptional — he’s the oil in a well-oiled machine and has gone above and beyond for me more times than I can count. I can’t thank him enough. Aric’s calm, stoic demeanor makes even the most hectic days easy to navigate. Steven and Austin always put a smile on my face and keep things fun. Every guest I talk to comments on how clean this place is. Rosa is a rockstar. I’ve stayed in $800-a-night hotels that aren’t as clean as the Q4. Whatever she’s paid, it should be triple — the standard she keeps is a real asset to the business. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The ac was cold, which I like. My first few nights the kitchen was dirty and messy. Sometimes guests don't clean up after themselves but the staff should do hourly or every few hours checks to wipe up after everyone. The subway is loud but also VERY convenient. The location is the best part⭐️

I love love love the staff here. I checkout out today into another hostel after being there for a bit and i feel like i left my family. From the housekeeping to front desk all the way to management the staff is AMAZING

The staff was very nice The place was quite clean. Good location for the money. No stairs - i had to carry my luggage all the way to 3rd floor.

It is a great place for budget traveling. Good price, great location, easy access to multiple Subway lines going in every direction. Sleeping there feels like you're in the center of NYC. 100% would recommend

I liked the size of the room, in room lockers, and in room bathroom. I think the no visitor even in the communal space policy is very harsh.

The hostel was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt welcomed during my stay. I also liked being close to Queens Plaza, restaurants, stores, and public transportation. For anyone looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting New York City, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city, Q4 is a great option. I would definitely consider staying here again on another trip to New York.
