Hampton Inn & Suites Longview North

Booked a room with jacuzzi but was told after checking in and seeing the room and returning to the desk that I was downgraded to another room earlier in the day without being notified and only explanation given was they do this at their own discretion due to not being paid much from third party services. Clerk kept calling this a ‘hilarious thing’. Needless to say I won’t be back

Did find roaches, but overall, things went smoothly with check in and for the price, I’m sure it’s what comes with it. Great customer service, though.

The closet door needed to be repaired, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was detached from the wall.

Didn't have time to stay for the breakfast as we left at 4:45, but there was great coffee ready as we left the lobby. Room was very clean and the surroundings were well kept. Bed was great and the shower felt great. Check-in was a breeze, one of the fastest and less complicated with the desk person being very polite and courteous! will stay again.

We wore socks the entire time we were in the room and the soles were dirty.

I really like staying at this property. Very friendly staff. My only issue was I book there for the pool, and it was out of service, it would been nice if the facilities were not in service there was some way to know that when making the reservation I would have booked somewhere else my kids like to swim. Other than that it was great

The ice machine did not work the floor in the bath room was dirty shelves dusty they need to do a better job cleaning hairs on the floor in bath room no body wash

The hotel was comfortable for a one night stay. The hotel staff was friendly when I checked in. The hotel is very outdated and needs a lot of remodeling. The pool was out of service. There were hole spots in the floor under the carpet when you walked down the hallways. Also the key cards had issues it took a few times to insert before the door would open. And the breakfast lacked a variety.

When we checked in the room had a leaky ceiling, the soap dispenser was ripped from the wall and the non working phone was shoved in a drawer. We complained and unfortunately there was not another room large enough to accommodate us and our 3 grandchildren and no adjoining rooms. We had to divide into 2 rooms. Again soap dispensers at sink had been ripped off the wall. Property very worn. We will not stay at this property in the future. This was not up to Hampton standards. Very disappointed in stay. Hotel did have nice breakfast with variety and clean eating area.

Great location and price for a overnight stay. Clean towels and bed. This was the 1st Hampton i have stayed at that was not the best. This place was a little run down, carpet had major stains, bedroom had a weird smell to it. I did speak to someone and they did say hotel was under renovation so hopefully that improves the building.

Perhaps a little more attention to details would be good.
