La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham I-20 Longview South

The initial room I was given had misaligned floor boards at the entry & large paint spots missing underneath the sink. I initially asked for a refund and to leave. They upgraded me to a suite with a jacuzzi. Settling in, there was a frozen can of soda that had burst in the refrigerator, trash underneath the RR sink, and mildew in the corners of the shower. The next night, I purchased cleaning supplies so I would feel comfortable using the jacuzzi. When I tried to turn the jets on, it wouldn't work. I called the front desk and she told me to come get a pair of pliers to turn a knob on the wall bc it was broken. The lock on the side exit entry is also broken.

Far enough from I20 to be quiet but very easy to get to. Nice, clean room and it looked like a full breakfast.

Very nice room. Staff , I believe her name was Kathy. She was so helpful. She showed up to work, on crutches. Very pleasant . Even referred places to eat n visit.

Very clean very well kept. Staff was kind and helpful. When we arrived there was an issue with the elevator so they immediately our room. Great price! Will definitely stay again!

Hotel was updated and very nice. Comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was good. Pool was super cold with murky water. Hot tub was cold with nowhere to turn bubbles on.

Breakfast was fine. Basic fare. We had an issue with our room upon check in (AC was not working). But front desk moved us immediately, even noting that they knew about that room, but thought it had been fixed, so overall no big deal. Both rooms however, the tile/LVP in the entry way was cracked and falling apart. The hotel needs a refurb. But, overall it was clean, and worked for a one night stop on our trip. Would (and very likely will) stay here again.

Our stay was horrible. Stayed to use hot tub but it was not working and the bottom was green. When we asked manager we were told it was being turned into kiddie pool. Indoor pool had bugs and cricket in water. There was no smell of chlorine. Did not feel safe. Looked like room door had been kicked open . Will not stay here again. Very disappointing.

The exercise equipment (elliptical and bike) were rusted and nearly non functional but the free weights had a good selection and were in good condition. Attempted to use the pool once during the four day, three night stay. It was dead bolted locked during hours of operation with no signage as to why. Breakfast was hot. Nothing to rave about but if your goal is inclusive so you don’t need to make an extra stop in the morning this fits the bill. I appreciate that the designated smoking section was not outside the front door. No fees for parking. Reasonable and well maintained parking lot.
