American Hotel

Great area to get to by metro or even electric vehicles. A bit rough neighborhood but pretty central. Great size of rooms. Always a bit of a nuisance when the rooms don't have toilets. Also the AC was very noisy. And close to the beds.

After setting into things, the sharing of ‘Restroom’ facilities worked out ok: lockable doors to shower and toilet facilities Earplugs provided by hotel on booking in: in case of noise from street or guests ( only needed to use a couple of times)

The American hotel is very comfortable and clean hotel. A very comfortable bed probably the best on our trip. I found the area very interesting with a lot of food and coffee places near. short walk to little Tokyo mall with restaurants and shops, 7 min walk to little Tokyo train station Has air conditioning as well This didn’t worry me but be aware there are steps at the entrance to climb and it is shared bathrooms They are in very good condition with a strong shower

The style of the bedroom . Simple furniture, exposed brick wall, comfy bed. The lack of en suite bathroom and the complicated hotel layout .

Room was clean, place was quiet and in a decent area. There’s nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby. For a place with shared bathrooms it was awesome lol it was genuinely so chill.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we especially appreciated being allowed to drop off our luggage and check in early. The room was clean, and the location worked very well for our needs, particularly because we needed convenient access to transportation early the following morning. The biggest drawback was that there is no elevator, which made carrying several heavy suitcases up multiple floors quite difficult. This is important information that would be helpful to make very prominent when booking. The room itself was fairly small and basic, with a small window air-conditioning unit. Our room also had a shared bathroom rather than a private one. The shared-bath arrangement was disclosed in the room description, so we recognize that we missed that detail when booking, but in practice having only a shared bathroom on the floor was considerably less convenient than we had expected.

I had a really lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very convenient for exploring Los Angeles. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nothing at all

Clean room with effective air conditioning(!) was quite comfortable. Easy check in and building access. Shared bathrooms were big, clean and close to our room. Nice staff! After check out I thought I left my wallet behind and they kindly looked for it while I was on the phone with them. (I found it later in a packed bag.) We requested a specific room and I thought the request had been confirmed online, so was surprised to be placed elsewhere. Not a big deal, really; the room we were given was fine.
