American Hotel

Clean room with effective air conditioning(!) was quite comfortable. Easy check in and building access. Shared bathrooms were big, clean and close to our room. Nice staff! After check out I thought I left my wallet behind and they kindly looked for it while I was on the phone with them. (I found it later in a packed bag.) We requested a specific room and I thought the request had been confirmed online, so was surprised to be placed elsewhere. Not a big deal, really; the room we were given was fine.

location was good room smells so bad, i switched the room, it smelled bad as well, our clothes absorbed that smell

They were happy to store my luggage after check-out without any fuss. I wasn't able to pick it up until after 8 PM, but the staff member, Masuma, went above and beyond by even letting me use the shower—a truly amazing gesture. I’ve stayed here in May, July, and August, and the experience has been absolutely flawless. Nothing in particular.

The staff are awesome, the location is great especially on a Dodgers game day. For a shared bathroom accommodation, the bathrooms are clean.

I enjoy the location near to union station and to the downtown. They kept my luggage after the checkout. And the room has AC well, there's no elevator, and my room was at the thrid floor, so going up and last day down with my full bags was a little complicated. I got a fee due to topper was stained with makeup.

Location wasn't great it was outside a noisy pub and near skid row (with some homeless nearby). People racing cars nearby.

Location, near transit, little Tokyo with all the shops, restaurants. My second time at hotel.

I like the staff here alot they are very pleasant and helpful. They make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also have a water machine which is nice. Their rooms are clean and well kept, you will sleep with peace of mind.

it was bad area and I could not get in with the code I was given so someone who was cleaning let me in because lock was broken and you could not get in. people they let stay there I could not sleep net doorroom coulple fogut all not logn throwing furniture or objects each other girl kept screaming
