The site is great, I was looking forward to getting parked, but when I arrived the Valet was rude and less than helpful — he could have turned the sass down when asked about the valet parking. I didn’t end up staying here, I decided to cut my losses due to that interaction, I feel as though the judgment from the valet implied that I was not an actual patron just because of the car I was driving (he promptly shut the gates to the lot after interacting with me). I would have loved to have stayed here, but I felt that I would rather not chance being looked down upon or treated as if I was too poor for the establishment based on my appearance or the appearance of my vehicle while on vacation.

I enjoy the decoration style of the hotel building which provided an enjoyable experience. The location was close to the convention center and staff was helpful in bringing me what I needed to make hot water.

Shower pressure was pretty bad. Property felt dated. Valet was expensive and poorly staffed. I would not stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The staff was absolutely amazing, so sweet, kind, and attentive. We also loved that it was dog-friendly, which made our stay even better. The property was very clean, comfortable, and practical, especially if you’re in town for a Dodgers game or a concert nearby. We had such a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

I stay here often for work trips, the staff are the best and are always so accommodating, while make feel right at home. The rooms are always clean, cozy and the beds are so comfortable. I always look forward to staying at the Proper and will be back again soon!

Beautiful hotel and staff was exceptional. We were also traveling with our Frenchie and the hotel was very dog friendly!

Shabby lounge chairs in the waiting area were weird. We loved the food from CaraCara and breakfast.
