n/a Terrible option to stay at. Booked this for a colleague from work UNDER HIS NAME and when he went to check in he was denied the check in as apparently my name was on the booking. This is not correct as I made sure his name was in the booking so he wouldn't have any issue checking in (As I have done before without issue) They use a facial recognition check in process that just makes no sense to me at all. My colleague was calling me to try get some help but I am in Europe so I was asleep while he was trying to checkin, an absolute mess. Obviously my colleague had to then book another room on the spot (for a higher price) and I have been trying to get a refund for days and I still havent got it.... why am I having to waste my precious time now having to chase this refund when IT WASNT MY FAULT HE WASNT ALLOWED CHECK IN... do not recommend this hotel to anybody, save yourself a hassle and book elsewhere. First and last time booking here.

1 Elevator Was Down And The Air Conditioners Were Not Working Very Well

This hotel was fine. It was a comfortable enough place to sleep. But the rooms are stark and kind of depressing. There's very little light in the room. I stayed solo this trip but if you want any privacy while showering, this is not the right place for you. And, while the room was in actuality clean, it didn't feel clean because of the crumbling style of some walls/pillars.

This is a hotel in the heart of Downtown LA with all its drawbacks and advantages. The building itself is gorgeous and the rooms were clean. We opted to valet park our car for safety. The staff are very helpful. Overall a great stay.

We were nervous arriving around 2am but the area was well lit. No issues getting into the hotel. Bar and pool are separate areas on the roof and the pool is for guest only. Only complaint is if you're a light sleeper, you can hear all the hallway traffic noise. They did provide ear plugs.

Make sure to take time to visit the roof top bar and views.

The room was very clean, modern, and open-concept which made it feel very spacious. The staff were responsive with requests; I ran out of toilet paper and several rolls were delivered to my room within just a few minutes of my calling. My room was also very quiet which helped me rest; I am very sensitive to outside noises. Highly recommend.

Old beautiful building. The theater has so much history. Best coffee ever in the coffee shop in the lobby. Friendly helpful staff. Great area to visit. Loved every moment.

Newly renovated art-deco building on Broadway in Downtown LA. Modern paint schemes while accentuating the MCM architecture. Furnishings are artsy but functional and security is top notch. And for you art lovers, there’s a Bansky right across the street. Well, and I’m solely attributing this to my special rate through Booking, I requested a balcony room - the room itself was delightful! And balcony is old style Ne York metal with a small round table and two chairs. What didn’t I like? The fact that I was placed on the 3rd floor and the view from my entire balcony was blocked by the only billboard on the block. I didn’t complain but did mention that I assumed I was given that room due to my Booking reservation. The very polite front desk attendant actually admitted it through a slight nod. It was still a very comfortable stay.
