Pleasant

There were two roaches in our bathroom when we arrived and the towel hook on the bathroom door fell off when we hung up a towel. There were some homeless people walking around. Everything in the area closed before 11pm. Luckily there was a Dominos and Wing Stop across the street. Last, the restaurant was not open the next morning for breakfast and they had given us two $10.00 off coupons for food.

Properly is dates, in dire need of an upgrade. Staff was friendly and addressed our issue with a leaking AC unit.

But the rooms are small and so noisy, the rooms are not well maintained. I had to change one room, one in the other one I realized the other one had just as many issues as the previous one. So I just sucked it up and waited to leave. I am in business trips so for me comfort is the first thing. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, made a ton of noise at night and kept me up. The shower door was not closing so I had to shower with the door open making a mess on the floor. Windows won’t open, no fresh air in. The restaurant food was terrible, I only got the casadilla so not sure of the rest of the menu, but that was the greasiest and worst casadilla I ever had. Left it all in the room. I won’t go back to this hotel.

Location was great. Upon check in at 3 - room wasn’t ready. The person at front desk looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. Minimal communication - the only thing emphasized was an 11 am check out lol even though I wasn’t able to be checked into my room until an entire hour later than the 3pm time. The room was so humid when I finally was given one. AC unit was a nightmare - it was so loud even though I was told the reason the room wasn’t ready was for HVAC maintenance? One would’ve assumed they would have fixed it or even just turned it on prior to letting anyone use the room.

Wonderful stay at Found Hotels Santa Monica. We check in late at night and August was on top of everything from combining our separate bookings to parking. Breakfast was great. All staff are very helpful. Thank you all for taking care of us.

Staff was extremely kind and nice! You do get what you pay for in the sense that everything was good enough but don’t expect the most spotless space- and that’s okay! Very little things like the elevator not being anything extravagant, the window facing a wall, but it was well worth it and I would totally stay again!

The size of the room, cleanliness, the staff was friendly and reliable. The room had a constant white noise. I guess previous customers reported and there is no way to fix it, because there were ear plugs and a note apologising about the noise in the room in a tin box. We only stayed 1 night so it wasn't an issue. But if I had one more night, I would have changed the room. It was room 214.

This hotel served us well. It is a cute, little out of the way hotel on Santa Monica Blvd that is close to everything but not in the heart of traffic. It is well maintained and a cute vibe. It is slightly understaffed but staff was friendly. It is attached to a Mexican restaurant that looked great although we did not have the opportunity to patronize it. The breakfast bar was fine. Slow if you are in a hurry. We would stay again if needed.
