SureStay Hotel by Best Western Santa Monica

Very good

The staff were very courteous and helpful. They were able to accommodate my needs and preferences. My room, thought small, provided everything I needed. Unfortunately, because I had an early morning appointment, I was not able to partake of breakfast, but I will have more opportunity when I return.

Breakfast was good, though the offerings were the same on both days we were there. Having a Trader Joe’s nearby was a nice bonus. Oh, FYI, there are no elevators.

Breakfast was good, many options. Location was great able to walk many places and pier/LA are short drive away.

The room was very nice. Comfy bed. Front desk was very helpful in directing us to good food. Their choices did not disappoint. Parking lot was very close. Secure gate to get into the rooms. Beautiful courtyard in the middle. The only downfall was the stairs. (we're seniors). There's only two floors, though, so not too rough. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Didn't eat breakfast, but friends said it was average. Rooms were kinda odd and some opened to outside (no interior halls, converted apartment building). We paid more for this hotel than others and got less. It was acceptable, but not really great and glad we were only there one night. It happened to be close to where we needed to be the next day or we wouldn't have chosen it. They were training a new employee and I got charged twice, but the manager straightened it out.

We had a pleasant time there; breakfast was fine, and coffee and tea were available. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy, and there was no in-room safe (we could leave valuables at the reception, but it was a bit of a hassle not having them close at hand); my husband got bitten by bedbugs...

Location, spacious rooms, quiet policy (after 10 PM), helpful staff, cleanliness, parking.

The room was clean, beds firm, bathroom very clean. Continental breakfast was the usual carb fare, including a pancake maker if you like making your own. It did include hard-boiled eggs for protein and fresh fruit (bananas and apples). Coffee was not lovely, but most places the coffee is not. Front desk folks were nice, as was housekeeping. I was in the 400 room block, which has a central courtyard with patio furniture and umbrellas fitted over the tables. It is entered from a front gate, which made the place feel both pleasant and secure. There is a Trader Joe's just a half-block away. There was a microwave and mini-fridge that was convenient to use and a small table at which to eat. It's not fancy, but it has character and was a good value. I did not realize that parking was for a fee -- $11 a day.

In the webbpage says you have pool and there wasn't. You should have at least two chairs in the room.

Exceptional

The only thing ai didn’t like was them rushing us to check out right at 11? I was running late form the 10k (no pun intended) and needed to shower first. Other than that everything was good.

It was clean and comfortable.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean. The room was decent for what was payed for. Everything we needed was near by.

The room was amazing. It had a full stove and oven and kitchen.! I was pleasantly surprised and grateful!. I would love to visit this place again, soon.! Thank you.!
