However, the difference was I booked direct as a walk-in and this time I booked through Hotels.com and over the years and I’ve been a member of Hotels.com for a lot of years, maybe 12? And one of the things I have noticed is that if you book some hotels through the app or through the website you do not get the most recently updated clean rooms. You get the older room for a decent price actually at the Hilton it was pretty much the same price I was able to look it up and the Hilton would have charged me $270. I would’ve received the points on Hilton honors because if you booked through hotels, you don’t get points. You get free Wi-Fi And then would’ve spent another $30 on Valley Parking Self Parking for the record is $29 I guess if the hotel is selling the rooms at a bargain price to an app like Hotels.com that’s one thing if you book directly with the hotel, especially Hilton you’re going to get the best of the best I think it’s a bit misleading to pay close to ADR on an app that promotes discounts So I’m not really sure if I’m giving the three star review to Hotels.com or to the Hilton I guess the Hilton cause ultimately it’s their hotel. It’s their property. They want someone to come there and have a good experience. The room was a little bit odd in that the bed was not as comfortable as the last bed. I slept in there at that hotel. And it was a little bit smaller. But pretty much same $$

The Restaurant staff as well as the Valet staff were very helpful. It made my stay even more pleasant.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location.

The whole experience was nice. It would have been nicer if they had a pool and free breakfast for the price you pay
-
i love how friendly the staff is! we had a small issue with our original room and they upgraded us to a higher floor for free! i didn’t like that the balcony’s were not for use
-
Nice staff, clean room, but very old and loud air conditioning

The service we received at the check in by Luciano at the reception was excellent. He was very helpful & made sure we had a nice room with a view. He was quick to thank my husband for his service in the military. Also the food at the restaurant was good & the staff were attentive to make sure all was well.

The staff was friendly enough. The water pressure was terrible and took forever to be warm/hot. The thermostat in the room also didn’t seem to work properly.

Housekeeper friendly and employees. BUT no one not even the manager resolved the blood issue on the comforter and sheets in our room!!! blamed it on memorial weekend being booked its insane they couldnt find one comfortable!!!! Embarrassing. It was during memorial day weekend, and my birthday. We got two rooms and in my room the comforter on my bed was dirty—with blood the sheets the pillows too. The manager did nothing but send 3 sheets and pillow cases No comforter found in all the hotel. Unbelievable, worst night ever. I also forgot my kids san diego hat and they want $54 to ship to us! INSANITY!! The hotel should send it for free since they couldn’t address the blood on the comforter and sheets!!!

The tv didn’t work. Couldn’t call service desk. Phones were never ringing. Had to go down to front desk every time. No smart tv. Toilet made disgusting noise. Parking situation was very inconvenient

-
Staff need to be more customer friendly.

The experience was great. I just hoped the tv programming was better.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Extra seating, desk TV. The refrigerator was a plus. It really comes in handy when staying for family graduations and celebrations. Wish there was lightning over or near the full length mirror. Hard to see. Small thing but it would be helpful
