The Beverly House by AGA - Beverly Hills

The location was great. Parking was a little tight and there was a smell I couldn't quite tell what it was in the room, but we got some lavender wipes for it. Overall, the room was clean and decent for the price. Very nice Italian bistro next door that we liked. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, good for a quick trip. Property was fine but everything was just okay.

Stayed one night for business. An older property - probably built during the 50's or 60's during the drive-up motel heyday, but the room was recently remodeled and in generally good condition. Not a lot of amenities, but a good place in a central location to explore the nearby neighborhoods and attractions. I would stay there again.

Expensive for what you get, but convenient.

overall a cozy and affordable place. however, the room didn't have a microwave, hair dryer, or iron which was kind of odd.

The location was good, withing walking distance to many things. The property information says there is on site parking, which is why we went with it. There are only 8 spaces for 28 rooms first come first served. The surrounding parking is metered 1 hour 8 am to 8 pm. I kind of felt deceived. Other than that, the air conditioning unit was very loud. In made a loud "thunk" every time it kicked on. All in all, I do not go on vacation to stay in the room, and it was clean and the staff was pleasant. I got used to the loud air conditioner, and eventually was able to sleep. We were able to park most of the time, and only once did we have to park more than 3 blocks away. The area is not bad, so we could live with that. Best thing about it was location.

Room hot, air con didn’t work,

The rooms were updated, but needed a little bit of maintenance, large crack in wall. There was no cable, but had a few streaming options to watch tv, had to login to WiFi each time you turned on the tv. Beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located on a busy street and our room was on the street. The road noise was very loud day and night. Off street parking was available, but very limited, we were lucky to get parking or you’re have to park on the street which is metered.

The picture of the room online was exactly what our room looked like. It was definitely new/upgraded. The parking was perfect!! So nice to have free parking in LA. The neighborhood and motel itself seemed scary to me. My daughter and I had no issues but we were nervous with just 1 lock on the door. The staff was very nice but was always behind a plexi glass window which was my first concern. We had no issues but felt nervous the whole time due to the environment and the motel atmosphere. The room was absolutely clean but we could smell that a smoker had been staying there smoking in the room before we stayed there. We turned the ac up higher to try to move the air more. I hadn’t realized when we booked that it was not a hotel but a motel.

great location and good neighborhood

Front desk and staff were wonderful, property and room was clean and appeared to be recently upgraded. There was no in-room coffee (coffee at front desk) or microwave but there was a small refrigerator. Parking was first come first served and very very tight, just enough room to barely open your door... also was located in back alley that didn't feel super secure but we had no issues, just didn't leave anything valuable behind.

Was overall decent place. No in room microwave, coffee pot or phone to call front desk. Was free on site parking first come situation.

Do not stay here ….. the parking was non existent. When we finally parked and walked in the doors were rusted. The door to the alley in the back was wide open and anyone could come in. The courtyard was a piece of turf in a circle. The one resident had her door open and the room was full of alcohol. My children did not feel safe and we left.

This hotel was clean. It was just in a really spotty area not quite in Beverly Hills and the pictures are not like the real thing. However, the staff was pleasant and the property was clean. It’s just the surrounding area was questionable. I was afraid to park my car and there’s only enough parking for like 10 cars after that you have to park on the street.

Great location! Newly updated and pretty nice. Waymo was easy here and walked to the grove super easy! Great find
