Decent location, near a lot of nice spots and easy to get to. The “hotel” itself was more of an over priced motel. All prices for the hotel should be upfront when booking and not an extra charge because they consider it a resort and require you to use the valet and have an extra charge for that as well.

Loved this hotel!! 50: feel, but not over done and very well maintained ! Staff super friendly. Highly recommend for location and pool area.

The place was very dirty. Furniture was broken. AC made a horrible loud noise.
-
Great vibe, helpful staff, nice pool, quiet place to stay in the heart of West Hollywood. Only drawback to the room was not enough hooks or hangers to handle the wet towels and swimsuits of two guests.

It was a good place to stay for a few days . The rooms are good and location is great. There are good places to have breakfast . The staff is very friendly.

Great inexpensive place to stay. Over many years I've been satisfied with the hotel.

Loved the decor and style of the hotel. It's not a flash hotel but it's very comfortable, clean and location was great being walking distance to The Grove and Beverly Center. Rooms were spacious with small table and chair, lots of bench space and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was large, with wardrobe space and large shower. Reception was always staffed and the Swingers Diner on-site was great for food and coffee / drinks. We lost power one night to whole of hotel for many hours and there was no explanation given. We assume not the hotels fault but we will never know. Would have been a good gesture to shout coffees at Swingers as compensation for the inconvenience.

The vintage vibe was spectacular

Full disclosure this is an adorable retro type vibe hotel and it is not posh but if this is your budget then it's very cute. The bathroom was roomy and nice shower, the rooms are fine, it's a motel. The pool is fabulous, location excellent and walkable to Beverly Center, 3rd street area, a park with dogs, and walkable to The Grove. Swingers cafe is iconic and attached. There are no lamps in the room so you either have bright light or no light?

We loved our stay here. Such a cool vibe, the room was spacious and the pool was so refreshing. The diner next door was so convenient and delicious and we loved the valet parking at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location at the price

Fantastic location for what we wanted to do and places we wanted to visit. The staff were professional and helpful but not overly fussy. Ricky was a great valet and promptly brought our car round. Truly I can't think of anything.

Location The elevator smells very bad !

The hotel have also changed their parking so you cant self park in the garage and now have to use the valet which is $40 per day (we had booked 'with parking included') but we had to pay and use the valet. There is only free parking on the road 8pm - 8am and nowhere else nearby so no option really. Valet was very nice but it was an expensive addition.

Great location.

We loved our stay at the Beverly Laurel Hotel. It was the perfect location! We went to the Famous Market a couple of blocks away, and we were able to catch the Hop On Hop Off bus and had lunch. The staff was so helpful, and we loved the room!

I love a boutique hotel. This place has solid retro vibes. Next door is Swingerd restaurant open til 3 AM. The hotel is central to a lot of the Hollywood sites. Rented a car and drove everywhere but it’s also walkable to the Grove. If I was doing another LA trip, I’d stay here again!
