Good location but other things were not satisfied.

Always love staying at the Palihotel on Melrose and love the cafe.
-
Very cute boutique hotel. Would definitely return!

Renya and Kyle were so friendly and helpful! I can't wait to stay here again in the future! Perfect location and great staff!!
-
The room was really nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was extremely unhelpful and rude, outside of the manager. Toilet and bathtub in the room were both out of service when we arrived.

Property was fine. Staff was hit and miss with their availability. Biggest miss was lack of bath towels, which I found out after my shower. Tried to convince me there were towels but apparently my own eyes were not deceiving me as I drip dried looking throughout the room for a towel. I guess a bath mat comes in handy. Otherwise the place was fine.

I stay here often! Literally always a great experience!
-
Great spot. Smaller rooms, but all well appointed. Staff were lovely. Breakfast is great at the diner. Great rooftop with pool.
-
Nice, funky hotel. Interior is a little dated, but they’ve done a fair job of making it “kitschy”. Room was clean and spacious

Such a beautiful property! Staff were friendly and location was great. Would stay again.

There were a few tiny dark black insects inside the bed. I don’t know what they were but don’t believe those were bed bugs. The ceiling fan was unusable since there was no remote control for it. There is no in-room control for the AC. If you need it up or down, you need to ask in reception. Vents flow right on top of the bed. I asked to be turned down a bit, and it was turned so high, it didn't go off in hours. Very stuffy inside. Got dressed snd went to reception again to ask to be turned lower, and it never went on. Finally one more tome at midnight, the night receptionist adjust it well and it worked. Very rough night. Restaurant is OK. Only opens until 3pm and only of it isn’t too slow, in which case, you arrive to find it closed already. The room was nicely decorated, and had good amenities, such as a coffee maker, a robe, lotion. Too bad that the old building doesn’t allow for proper central a/c with in unit controls, nor that a room facing Melrose will keep you up for most of the night. Staff was pleasant.

- Perfect location to launch into The Grove and surrounding highlights - Spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained rooms with great amenities - Overall — exceptional. - I think we found our new fave in LA — will definitely come again!

Awesome thanks for having me!
-
Very good experience, but the rooms have a central management system, and therefore you could not control the temperature in the room. Overall, very good location and amenities, but very cold rooms

I was a repeat guest, traveling with my sister. We asked for an upper floor room but was given the room on the first level first room from the entrance facing Melrose which was super noisy and did not feel safe on this busy street. The person at the reception desk did not seem to have concern and he said sorry we assigned these rooms as available, which I interpreted it as “ you booked on a 3rd party app so you are stuck with whatever we give you.” Also the fan was not working and it was 80+ degrees. Our first experience was what brought us back but not inclined to return.

Location was superb.

Every staff member interaction was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The room decor and cleanliness were exceptional. Although the street noise was somewhat bothersome, it was minimal and I would be happy to stay at the property again without hesitation.

While delays can happen, customer service should not. After waiting well over an hour, we asked for an update and were told, "I just got here. I don't know what to tell you, it's just not ready. I guess they were busy today." That response summed up the experience perfectly. No apology, no ownership, no effort to make things right. Just a shrug. If your room isn't going to be ready on time, that's frustrating. If the staff treats that frustration as if it's your problem, that's a much bigger issue.
-
They only clean your room if you asked them to the day before, which they did not tell me anything about when I booked, nor checked in to the hotel.
