We found previous guests unclean socks in the closet, and the room was missing a hairdryer. It takes at least 30min for housekeeping to deliver anything you’re asking for, which tells me that the hotel is probably extremely understaffed. The room is spacious but you can hear a constant whirring noise from the AC. Overall, while I wasn’t expecting 5 star service, the quality of our stay was below what I’d usually expect at a 4-star hotel.

Great stay

It's a super cute hotel in a great location. I love unique hotels that pay attention to detail and this is one of them. Would stay again!

Staff and location Parking very expensive but typical of LA.

Great location, cute rooms and lovely staff Service and amenities are below mid. The room wasn’t clean after we came back from a whole day out, towels are all old and had holes in them, we had to ask for 3 different irons to get one thats working properly. We found a women’s top in our room that didn’t belong to any of us which the reception said “oh” to. It takes ages to get through reception or get anything delivered to the room, we asked for 4 towels they brought 2, dirty spoons have been sitting in the room for days. The TV never worked, they said “oh it happens” - zero apology or any effort to make things better. All of this add up to the experience not being great.

Pleasant surprise for 2 days surgery at Cedars.

I stay here at least 3x a year for all of my business trips. Rooms are spacious, quiet and beds are so comfy!

Just the perfect place to stay

Decor and cleanliness were well done and maintained throughout the facilities. Almost immaculate both in-room and shared areas (pool, lounge, etc.). In a two-queen room, we were provided enough towels and wash cloths to accommodate two people; however, we had three staying in our room. Cleaning staff, who did clean the room nicely each day, had to be repeatedly asked for enough towels to accommodate three. They never got it right. Always leaving only enough for two. The fridge is overly stocked with "chargable" items, leaving no room for your own personal items.

Wonderful experience! 10/10!

Location It was average bedrooms, too expensive
-
I had to go to work at 4:30am and there was no hot water, sink or shower had zero hot water for shaving and the steamer and some kind of black sludge come out of it onto my shirt but they covered my parking fee so the rest was manageable.
-
Cool vibe, but music plays no in every public space. After a while you want a break. There was no storage space or dresser for clothes. And they failed to clean our room on day 1. For the price charged due to the World Cup, it was not worth the money.

Front desk staff were very helpful.

Palihouse is in the perfect spot in bh, literally a 3 min walk to popular spots like Joan’s, Carla cafe and la la land. The staff are amazing, and very helpful. I’m so happy I found my new place to stay when I come to la!

I thought this hotel was like a mini Soho House experience. I loved the decor and the service was great. The beds were also comfortable!

All the staff were helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and plan on returning when visiting LA next month.

Excellent service. Outstanding service.

got double charged, once for my initial reservation on expedia and then at 4am by the hotel for another room charge. I communicated that to the front desk and they let me know that it is due to using a third party website and its an error that happened when completing billing on their end. This is not the first time it has happened to me and happens at different hotels so I am starting to think it is due to Expedia.
