Welcome Inn on Colorado Blvd

There was no on site staff seen but someone came into our rooms and left two towels that smelled weird. Everything was dirty and grimy, when we walked on the floor it left visible dirt on our feet. There was a light in our room that flickered the whole time so we just kept the lights off. The TV remote also didn’t work past like 5 channels but was considered a smart tv?? i’m glad we brought our roku or we wouldn’t be able to watch anything during our stay.

Everything else sucks. Paid parking; no outlets to charge phones or computers; tv didn’t work; no microwaves. Front desk is via video screen in India. Not informed of $100 deposit until you get there & you can’t pay in cash because they turn your money into rupees in India and then have to convert it back to US dollars in 3 days!?

Clean room, excellent service, great location, many parking spaces available, cold A/C. One thing that I disliked was the lack of wall socket next to my King bed. Other than that it was great. Would recommend if you want a short drive to universal studios. Just drive there early in the morning.

Air Conditioning works

The space is rudimentary, for the price. It is an old space, quaint. It's a shotrt walk to restaurants. We ate at fish in rice (sushi). It is a must do!

They charge extra for parking when you check in and also charge a deposit for key, when you turned in they will refund in 2 or 3 days. Bad experience, dirty dirty place. We are not coming back ever! Bad experience and low low quality standards.

The room was really dirty by the bed. There was a lot of crumbs. The sheets were stain. It smelled like mold. Do not recommend it.

This hotel is the worst in my life. If you decide to stay here, make sure to bring your own wash towel and hair dryer. We've made a reservation for 4 adults for 3 nights, but found only 2 worn out bath towels. We asked the receptionist who was in the screen. He promised to tell to the cleaning people to bring more towels next day. But cleaning people never showed up during our stay. Furniture and the rooms were out dated. Bath room door was stuck every time. The drain in the bath tub seemed never cleaned. You'll get what you pay for.

Classic hotel. I love that a Route 66 era building can be refurbished and made comfortable and affordable in 2026. Love the pool, too.

Everything was great, only thing I’d add would be microwaves in rooms if possible, and later Pool times.

Convenient to walk for restaurants & market

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This was not a hotel…it is a motel. It was run down and in horrible shape. There is no check-in desk. You have to use a kiosk to check in, talking to a person over a video feed. The room was old and not well kept. The bathroom only had two towels. There were no wash clothes and no hand towels. The “bath towels“ were hardly big enough for drying off. The A/C did not work well and did not cool the room to a comfortable temperature. I do not have anything good to say about this property and would not recommend anyone staying here.

It was my first time to experience virtual front staff. Very strange. But They were all helpful. Someone was listening to music so loud in the middle of the night. AC was so loud and didn’t work so well. The location is a little sketchy. I don’t think I’ll use this motel again. I only used it because it was close to dodgers stadium and most hotels were booked up.

The room was not great. The bathroom towels were wet, the window in the bathroom wouldn't close, the blinds on the window were broken and wouldnt close, the air conditioner would pop a fuse whenever we turned it on, the nightstands were just proped against the wall, the sheets didn't fit the bed, and there was only 1 available plug that didn't totally work.

Staff very nice & fast customer service, also close to many restaurants & store. Parking is great & is always available.
