First, I must say that the staff was extremely polite and caring about the issues. They addressed concerns but were unable to fix . Check-In was quick and easy, however our room reeked of cigarette smoke, nail polish streaks on the floor and when we arrived the couch had three wet areas where they had just cleaned it. The smoke was the worst and while they tried to get it out with a device it didn't work. People even thought when we met up with them that we had been smoking. Next, our door latch and lock did not work The entire time. . We went back to the front desk everyday, multiple times a day, to have our keys remade and even after a key was just remade, it didn't work. Many folks in our group of over 30 had the same issue.They stated they were going to have someone come out and look at their system and figure out what was going on. Presumably that was going to happen after we left as it did not happen while we were there. Along with the key not working, the door would not latch. So when we tried to leave anyone could just push the door open and gain entrance. Maintenance looked at it but did not fix it. One of the folks in our group figured out what the problem was and we had to manipulate the bolt and the latch each time we left in order to get it to close and be secure. Cleaning service requested upon arrival, never received. Lastly, while the AC was cold, the humidity in the room never left. It was not a pleasant stay

The beds were soft and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and quite big with a sofa. Breakfast was ok. Everyone we spoke to was friendly. But there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance if we wanted to go there instead, which we did for dinner. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. It was a great deal. Not a lot of choices at the free breakfast and the juices were watered down. But everything else was delicious

The room was really clean and spacious It would have been helpful it the room already had plenty of towels in the room but other than that we had an amazing stay and the staff were so incredibly supportive in every way

We arrived at 10pm and the staff were super friendly and helpful upon arrival. Nothing.

Breakfast ended way too soon. Did not get an opportunity to make it down there in time.

Good location for going to Kentucky Derby and other sight seeing.

Cons: Housekeeping staff are noisey and yelling down the hallways, and vacuuming outside the door... Don't expect to sleep in here. Hotel could use some updating. Couch in our room had several stains on it - needs a deep cleaning. Vent in bathroom was covered in an inch of dust.

Our first room had been smoked in. When I brought the odor to the attention of front desk attendant, she didn’t hesitate to move us to another room, which was great. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and room was spacious. There were only a few cosmetic issues that need touch ups, such as paint and caulking. This hotel was in a great location that wasn’t overcrowded and felt very safe. We will stay here again.

This hotel was very clean, it smelled good when we entered the lobby and the receptionist that checked us in was fast and kind. We needed additional linen for the pull out couch and this was also provided promptly with no issues. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. They have hot and continental options. My daughter liked the eggs. That was a win for me. The only thing is the darn waffle maker. There’s only one and it takes a while to secure a spot to make one. Other than that, we had no issues with our weekend stay. We would certainly stay again, it was worth the money.
