Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Downtown

Nice large suite, the pool was cold but the kids didn't care. Night shift front desk rude, rude to my daughter and her husbands mom before I checked in and had me double billed that took forever to add because it was already paid. No one took accountability for his billing errors. They acted like no he didn't do that. Days later it went to 442.00 from 256.00 thats held up pending! It should have been 50.00 only. Payment also posted 212.00 not pending posted.

The room was damp and musky, the floors were dirty, the pillows were old and flat, the mattress was ole and worn, It was not worth what I paid for and I have had better rooms for less money. They also charged me for parking when I was told that parking was free.

Clean and secure. Hearing the traffic and people walking around on the sidewalk. (I was placed on the second floor) It would have been nice if notified of the possible disturbance on that floor and given the option of a different room. ( Since I am a very light sleeper ).

When leaving elevator to 4 floor parking was not working. Me having a bad knee had to walk up 4 flights to get car. Evening desk clerk on sat night was the best. Young black man very helpful. Having retired from managing a 200 room full service hotel, I would have loved to have workers like this young man. Will go back to using IHG hotels. Cleaner, better inspection practices, pleasant.

Room not cleaned as expected

The area, the lication. Staff. Having to pay a deposit. At our ages and a one night stay i shouldnt have had to py a damage depostit. It was taken out of our account and need it back thank you.
