The room itself was stunning—spotlessly clean with beautiful, high-end finishes and thoughtfully curated products that made everything feel luxurious and comfortable. We also had dinner at the on-site steakhouse, and it was absolutely incredible. Not only was the meal outstanding, but the manager personally came over to check in on us, which made the experience feel even more special and personalized. One of our favorite touches was the prohibition-style whiskey toast—such a unique and memorable detail that really set this hotel apart. Overall, we had an amazing stay and can confidently say this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We would 100% return and highly recommend Hotel Distil to anyone visiting Louisville!

Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the river, making our stay even more enjoyable. The dining experiences were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at Repeal, with delicious food and excellent service. The highlight of our trip, however, was spending an evening at the 1933 Society speakeasy. The atmosphere was incredible and made for a memorable and unique experience. We highly recommend Hotel Distil to anyone visiting Louisville and look forward to returning in the future.

Decor, location Reservations required for SpeakEasy. We thought we could just stop in for a late night drink since they are open until midnight and when we asked the front desk staff where to find it, were told to email the manager, since reservations were required. She never told us where it was, even just to see it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for bars and restaurants, pretty lively area. Very walkable area I have terrible allergies so I make it a habit to check. there was a ton of dust on the headboard and on the top of the closet.

Hotel was great. Staff amazing. We stayed in Louisville on a Sunday night and were surprised that most restaurants and bars were closed Sunday/Mondays.
