Galt House Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Our stay at the Galt House was perfect! The room was so comfortable and we were walking distance from so many restaurants and whiskey tasting rooms. We're looking forward to staying there again in the future.

When I checked in at midnight, the room was super hot and humid. Went to the front desk, they switched us rooms to another one right down the hall. Ended up being exactly the same. Hot and humid. The next day, I called down again and asked for someone to come look at it. The guy spent less than 2 minutes and found the problem. The air filter was literally CAKED with dust and debris. You could not see the center of filter and it would barely move with how thick it was. After that, the room was perfect. However, for spending over $400 on a room for 2 nights, we didn't get an upgrade, to park the car was $30 a day, breakfast was going to be $25 a person, at least, and when we watched the fireworks from the pool area, people were smoking weed and it wasn't the cleanest. The only thing this place has going for it is the lobby is beautiful and it's easy to walk the 2 blocks to the Performing Arts building. I will not be coming back or recommending this hotel. Go to a Holiday Inn or a Mariot. Its just as nice and you dont have to pay for parking or breakfast.

We usually stay here this time of year and at Christmas. Always a wonderful experience!

Elevators in parking didn't work for 4th weekend, check in was a nightmare. Leaving for checkout took a hour just to get on the Elevator

This is my third time staying at the Gault House. I enjoyed my stay.

Great customer service, restaurants and pool

Great location with great food options on property. Pool was a nice relief from the heat.

King Bed was not good foundation and pillows is okayed. Everything is so awesome cleaned

A couple of things we wish were different: TVs do not allow for apps to be utilized on them (Netflix, etc) and cable is just not what it used to be (first world problems) and we could hear the people in the surrounding rooms- not speaking, but if they did anything slightly elevated (slam a door, kids jumping around, people being a bit rowdy) it was a distraction. We also would’ve liked one or some of the 3 lamps in BR to be controlled by the light switch. Overall a very comfy and enjoyable stay. We would do it again!

Huge suite like room with plenty of space and all items you could need. The lobby smelled great and all of the staff were friendly. Great location to the waterfront and downtown areas ( bourbon district). The area was safe and walkable.
