The room was nice and cool with a comfortable bed.

The staff (especially Heather at the front) were wonderful. The lobby was beautiful and the outdoor pool was excellent. The breakfast was pretty good too. However, the room was pretty worn down and beds were uncomfortable.

Everything was nice. We stay here almost every year on our drive to Michigan and it's always the perfect spot to stay. Pool was under construction so we were disappointed in not being able to use it during our overnight stay.

Our bathroom had chunks of hair all over the floors , the main floor restrooms weren’t maintained the entire weekend . No toilet paper replaced the entire time I was there . It wasn’t horrible but definitely wasn’t the best I’ve stayed at (I own a cleaning company ) so I see details easily missed . Pool area was never cleaned up after uses . A wet towel sat there all weekend . And couldn’t even walk out front without feeling uncomfortable or to the gas station because we got asked if we needed or looking for some drugs! (I’m 7 months pregnant)Wasn’t an ideal area to be . Sketchy area for sure . As an adult we would go to pool area to sit and drink our coffee / smoke within a secured fence since there’s no sitting areas & got kicked out of it so had to sit in parking lot .

I would never stay here again. I arrived and they had given my room away and didn't inform us of the situation. I was in town for a funeral and the last thing you want while grieving is things to go bad. The general manager was very rude and refused to allow us to check in. I had to escalate the issue to a higher level and they still didn't allow us to check in to the following day without reimbursement for the first day. To add salt to the womb there was no water when I awake on Monday and was informed by a notice the day of. The water wasn't restored until 2pm. The room smelled of mildew and my wife's allergies was horrible the whole stay im guessing it was black mold. I would consider somewhere else next time. I think the 3 star is based on appearance alone.

Family friendly, helpful and friendly staff, clean room and public areas. We would stay again.
