Wingate by Wyndham Louisville Fair and Expo

Very Clean with very nice people. I felt very safe here. The only negative is it is right next to a highway so when it is a discount room that says highway view, be aware you are not looking at a highway in the distance. You are in some cases yards away. I had a room on the other side and I could not hear the highway noise.

We got a suite but the AC was in the room with the tv and pull out bed. Absolutely no air was in the bedroom area. It was hot so we had to switch to just one room, same rate and still had to go buy a fan. It’s summertime so we were expecting it too be cool when we got there.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. Nothing extraordinary but a great place to rest while continuing our journey.

Why is it 45$ for 2 cans of Pepsi? I thought that this was going to be my hotel each year but not now.pool was closed when we showed up. Many people complained asked for a discounted price since some of the amenities were not available surprisingly the pool opened up. No discounts no way to get any information about anything. Sadly I will need to find a new place to stay next year.

Great breakfast and our grandson loved the pool!!! The only negative thing I can say is they charge for a late checkout unlike other hotels.

Pool was out of order from the health department. Fitness area is about the worst I have ever seen. Breakfast was actually pretty good. Needs more seating. Our shower had a leaking faucet that was bad enough I had to keep the door shut because it was keeping me up at night. I good cheap stat but would not recommend sorry. Also having one elevator is the most annoying thing about this property.. should never design a hotel with one elevator.

Cons: very loud, close to highway and you can hear trucks, busses and motorcycles passing by all night. Brekfast is available but the quality is poor. If you have a dog allergy, do not book here, they have claim to keep dogs on the bottom floor but I was on top floor and there were 2 rooms with dogs.

The hotel was pretty good. I’d stay there again.

When we got into the room the temperature was set to like 64° and was freezing.

The room was small, but good for just a short stay. It was very clean and updated. The hallway smelled like an ashtray (old carpet?), but once in the room the smell was gone. Staff was very friendly.

So this was a first floor room with a handicap shower. When using the shower water was all over the bathroom floor no matter what I did. In general, the entire room was damp and musty. I actually had to use the hairdryer to dry off my clothes in the morning because they were so damp. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and for first floor room it was pretty quiet.

Breakfast was pretty good for free breakfast! Room was clean but bed sheets felt damp. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The pool appeared nice but when we were swimming we noticed lots of gnats in the water so we did not go back in. Overall nice stay for the price!

The staff was amazing! I have never experienced such kind and helpful staff, they greeted us and asked how they could help multiple times away from the front counter!
