Microtel Inn by Wyndham Louisville East

After prepaying, the hotel tried to charge our card several times. When we asked why, we were told us that their computer automatically created the charge and they had no control over it - even if it said we were paid in full. Creepy. The hotel is very dirty. One bright spot is that the beds and bedding were very clean. But the rest of the place is falling apart and dirty. Our tub had a pipe sticking out where the faucet should have been. So when you wanted a shower, you had to have water shooting out of the pipe until you could quickly switch it to the shower. The hair dryer was broken, the cord stretched out and dirty, barely hanging on the wall. The carpet was filthy. None of the outlets would hold any of our charging cords. On day two we asked for some more towels. They brought them and serviced the room. But they only made one of the two beds and emptied only one of the waste baskets. Breakfast is a joke. You can choose from toast, there was a single bagel, and some bulk cereal. Milk and mystery juice were from a large pitcher. There were some commercially made muffins. Coffee was cheap and weak. People were cooking bulk meals in the microwave (ramen, etc.) We didn't even try after the second day. No security. Even late the door was open requiring no key card. When asking for a new key, I wasn't asked for ID. Awful!

Good for somewhere to sleep. Minimal breakfast, but again still fine for something quick. My coke from the vending machine was very expired, kinda had to talk the front desk into giving me my money back. Other than that, decent stay.

The hotel smelled horrible and there was not house keeping everyday. Also, when we would leave and come back to our room, our room key would stop working and had to reactivate it each time.

Outside looks nice inside is nasty

The motel is dog friendly, but the dog across the corridor from us barked all night long. And there was no phone in the room to call the front desk to report the noise. Bad experience all aroubd. And for this we paid $95?!?

The front desk staff was incredible- we got new towels every day from the nicest cleaning lady she was so sweet- second year we stayed here and I already booked for next year!

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great! However this time, it seems there was a management change and just not as well taken care of. We didn’t necessarily have any issues, it was just a place to lay our heads at post festival shows, so for all intents and purposes it fulfilled the need.

Toilet seat in my room needs replaced as its getting older looking.

It just be the little things like one time you check into a nice room with a nice ass refrigerator the next time you check in to the room literally you left that morning but came back that night the refrigerator is gone replace with refrigerator that doesn't work sometimes the outside door works sometimes it doesn't other than that nice hotel very nice people very nice location

Great place to stay for a night whilst travelling

Nice staff on site, bed was fine. No amenities in bathroom, hot water did not last long. There were ants in my room and it was carpeted

Hallways and stairwell carpets dirty, room's A/C vent broken and dirty, had to pull the filter out myself and spread off and clean it. Room also had a couple broken lights that should have been repaired and the cushion by the window needed to be cleaned

Nice, quiet room. Comfy bed and ample hot water. Friendly staff as well as helpful. Plenty of options for food choices with the restaurants available in the area.
