Seelbach Hilton Louisville Downtown

Good value , but a little worn.

It has been over 10 years since my last stay, and, was anxious to revisit a place I'd been before many times for business and pleasure. With such incredible history, it is a gem that has to be seen to believed. So many architectural features that have been preserved. My favorite is the Rathskellar. It wasn't a busy day, in middle of week, so we got great service from the front desk, the bar, and the valet. Though some of the rooms are much larger and have a few more modern features, we were in a small King bed room on 4th floor. The bathroom is not for portly folks, but there was plenty of hot water and provided bath amenities. Next stay, will probably inquire about room size a little more, but, none of this would deter from giving the Seelbach 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! It's also next to 4th Street Live and a block from the Louisville Palace Theatre.

Gorgeous historical monument hotel in Louisville Kentucky with plenty of history behind it. Affordable great location seelbach bar it's top notch for bourbon drinkers. Amazing craft work of the hotel the staff exceptional. A rock's throw from the fun on 4th Street live. We will be back

Loved everything about it! The building is absolutely beautiful, the staff were very helpful, everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved the free tour and all of the history. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well worth it. We would love to come back!

Loved the building the decorating, but the TV was also ancient (talking about that 2012 flatscreen). To toilet seat was somewhat broken, but

Dropoff at front of hotel overwhelmed by two weddings with deliveries and guests trying to valet park - told it was normal Bar great if a bourbon drinker - not so much if you wanted johnny walker, mccallan, oban, glenmorangie - not even a listing on the drinks menu of scotch that was available No variety on breakfast menu. Try some corn beef hash, ham, shredded hash browns, sausage that was not overcooked and dried out, crisp bacon Far below expectations for a hilton

Overall, this hotel is very old, thus the challenges in getting hot water. Took 15 minutes each time you turned on the faucet in the sink and the tub/shower to get hot water. Huge water waster. Otherwise, the property was exceptional.

It was clean I called before booking to ensure we were able to do prom photos and was told absolutely since we were a guest. 3 times and 3 different people we were asked how long we were going to be doing photos and that there was a wedding party and that we needed to be out of the way which was fine we had no problem moving when the wedding party came but they were rude about it and one man told us they didn’t like when people booked for proms because only 2 people stay and the whole class and their families come and fill up the lobby. There were only 2 doing photos in our group and 2 people there taking pictures. I felt rushed and like we didn’t matter because there was a wedding! I understand there was a wedding but we were guests as well

The staff were excellent and the property was very clean. The rooms are quite dated & could use a renovation. They're missing a few amenities like in-room fridges. The lobby is beautiful. Breakfast was a bit too simple for the price.

Loved the bar and restaurant inside the hotel. Breakfast was okay but over priced, probably wouldn’t get again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel!!!! History around every corner and the staff is top notch. Our room was perfect and the staff was attentive to our needs. We did partake of the breakfast buffet. It is a little pricey (which is to be expected) but it was very good!
