Springhill Suites by Marriott Louisville Airport

Clean hotel. Breakfast was good. Pool was a little over chlorinated, hurt your eyes sitting in there. Beyond that, was a great stay.

Our room couch had mold. Our bathroom had mold in the showers.

Overall, the hotel was not what I was expecting. It was decent in some terms but still below my expectations. The sofa bed mattress was ripped on the side, really old, stained, and very uncomfortable. The bed mattress was okay but the beddings weren’t fully clean. The bathroom was mostly clean but not well maintained at all. The room could be much better if it were renovated. It was really spacious, the staff were nice, and the breakfast was fine though. The rooms could do much better with a renovation and a bit more effort on the cleanliness. In the room you can hear the airplanes from the airport so it would be better if the walls were sound proof, bug that wasn’t much of a problem.

Well, it is by the Airport but the amount of noise from 2am to 5am is horrific. I slept better in Afganistan. Hotel is clean and good breakfest. Bring ear protection lol.

Greeted by extremely friendly staff and checked right in! Took a dip in the pool and loved the spacious room! Even though we were only there one night it was the perfect spot - breakfast was fresh and stocked to enjoy before we hit the road again! Thank you for a great night’s stay

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a big couch and a desk. But the bed was much too firm and the carpet looked dingy. The lighting was too dim, even in the bathroom sink area. Breakfast was better than some other chain hotels, but we missed it on our last day because they had only told us the hours for the weekend, and breakfast ends earlier on weekdays.

REALLY GREAT PLACE TO STAY

The room was very nice, check in was a breeze, hotel was very attractive inside as well. Front desk staff at check in was super helpful, offering restaurant options nearby. Parking was nice and very convenient as well!

We were depending on the free airport shuttle for a late pick-up (around 12:15 am) and we were not picked up until almost an hour later because the one shuttle driver was sent in the opposite direction right before we called. Very disappointing after calling the hotel several times before our trip to insure a pick-up after a late flight.

Staff were so nice & breakfast was delicious

Pool was closed and unavailable during posted times. We specifically picked this hotel because it had a pool. I do believe it was because of maintenance, but that should have been done after 10 pm when the pool closed. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel.

Convenient and affordable

Omg. My room was reserved when I got to the front desk I wasn’t aware of a substantial cash deposit because I was a resident of Louisville where the hotel was located so I told the lady at the front desk I wasn’t aware of the deposit, but I asked her could I put the deposit on my cash app card instead of my credit card she said it didn’t make a difference as long as it was approved for the substantial amount of money. So I have my cash app card but what does she do but cancel my reservation and request a refund for me while I’m still standing at the desk and when I asked her why did she do that? She informed me because I wasn’t aware of the deposit although I asked her could she do it on my Cash app card long story short I never got the room (after standing at the front desk for 2 hours) which was an overnight stay and she had taken my deposit and just told me oh you can go on line again and rebook another room after she canceled it and told me I will get all my money refunded at the end of my stay . You talking about a lady who was Furious. And thank you there was no one there of a higher authority to talk to about the situation and then she tells me I can get in touch with the district manager on Tuesday. Remind you today is Saturday.

The people were nice. The breakfast was OK. The washer was clean both tires were filthy and no one had the vent was all broken.

Plenty of parking space, room is spacious and clean. Very close to SDF airport and have free shuttle to airport so it was convinient for me and my son after we check out. The front desk staffs are so nice and proffessional, help me to check in early with out any hassle and adfitional fee, since we arrived 3hours early of check in time. The area is quiet,and have more hitels next to it. Will recommend to other travelers.
