Wingate by Wyndham Louisville East

I left a green hoodie behind the bathroom door. When I contacted the hotel same day, i was told the cleaning staff had left for the day and desk person wasn't sure where they would have put it. I was then told to fill out a claim at this site for lost items. I offered to come back the same night and was denied. It has been a week now. Why isn't there a central location for lost items that everyone is aware of? Why wouldn't the cleaning staff report the item to the rest of the hotel staff? The website has also not contacted me for an update. There are better hotels in the area, I will not be staying at this hotel in the future as they are not honest On top of this, hair and fingerprints were found upon checkin. Not a clean space.

Great stay! Kids enjoyed the pool and outdoor lounge area. Staff was very kind and helpful, especially the night shift front desk person. She was very insightful and helpful!

Comfort and pricing.

Cons: Security, plumbing, electrical. I live in Maryland and travel up and down the East Coast pretty frequently. I've never been in a hotel where anyone could just walk in off the street, through the lobby, on to the elevators and go to any floor they wanted. Pretty scary, Kentucky. Someone knocked on my door at 10:30 at night the first night and I was dead asleep and jumped up in a panic. Didn't answer and they didn't knock again fortunately. The shower is straight up dangerous. I'm not elderly but that floor is slippery like ice. I was turning around in the shower like "This could be it! Massive head injury!" Water pressure was awful. In the sink, shower and toilet. You know you're in trouble when a weak stream of only cold stays exactly the same pressure when you also turn the hot up full blast. Lastly there was a light next to the bed that had been "repaired" with plumbing tape. If you touched it, it was wobbly so I imagine it's a fire hazard. No idea if the work was done by a customer that broke the light or the hotel staff but it was pretty funny looking and probably unsafe. I would not recommend this place and there are tons of hotels in the exact same area so I'd shop around.

Pool, Location Great, next to Sams club for gas & the hwy easy access. Parking good. Pool could have been cleaner. No Conditioner or shower gel. Was shampoo.

Breakfast had lots of options. Didn't care for the single pre-shaped eggs. Soft scrambled would be better.

I love how clean the hotel is. The location is great. We felt safe. The night front desk lady was amazing! The breakfast staff talking about visitors in Spanish!! They should be more careful and not judge people. And should realize some people regardless of race actually speak and understand Spanish!

Location was great and well kept. The review that said it was the best breakfast they had a hotel wasn’t kidding. It was awesome. Young lady that worked the overnight shift at the desk during our stay went above and beyond. Give her a raise! Was extremely kind to my son and gave him a pack of cards when he was bored. Felt like home to us during our stay. One small complaint, took a while to get the hot water going in the shower. Not a big deal.

Very clean and comfortable stay! Traveled with my 2 kids and we all enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast was great with a nice variety.
