The first room I was put in the ac did not work and was told that another room was not available until the following day. Once transfered to the second room the shower did not work properly.

The laundry facilities were out of order at the time of our visit with no ETA for repair We wanted to visit the pool or hot tub, but we had a short trip and unfortunately there were several unsupervised elementary age children running amok around the pool area around 8pm. Since the pool area closed at 9, we didn’t have a chance to try another time. No big deal. Just to be clear- I’m a mom and a grandma. I love children, I love to hear children playing - even loudly and chaotically so long as the play is appropriate. In this case, the children needed some guidance and we chose a documentary instead.

I booked through GovX after calling the hotel three separate times to confirm pricing and give them the opportunity to match the rate. I was transparent about the difference, but they declined to match it. The listing showed a hot tub, which was a major reason I chose this property. Upon arrival, I learned the hot tub had been filled in years ago. The pool area was also in poor condition and appeared green and unmaintained. When I brought this up at the front desk, I was told: “You’re the one who wanted to go through a third party because it was cheaper…we aren’t responsible for what they advertise.” The tone felt dismissive and unprofessional, which made a simple concern more frustrating than it needed to be. After returning to the room, we also discovered the television volume was not functioning properly and could not be adjusted below an extremely loud level, forcing us to turn it off and end our evening early. While I understand third-party listings can sometimes be inaccurate, the combination of misleading amenities, maintenance concerns, and poor customer interaction made this a very disappointing experience. I would recommend confirming amenities directly with the property before booking.

We had breakfast in our room. The location was convenient to stores & restaurants. The water was lukewarm. We couldn’t get hot water for showers.

Bathroom door would not close completely! I am not sure why! Other than that, I have no complaints!

It was up to standards.
