This hotel is very conveniently located by Liberty University. The property looks new and is well maintained. The breakfast has great options.

What really made a difference with this Microtel was the breakfast. In addition to the usual waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. they served scrambled eggs, sausage links, and a daily special (one day was biscuits and gravy, the other was corned beef hash). And their juice machine worked (my experience is that in about half of the hotels I stay in the juice machine is out of order). They also have a very helpful breakfast attendant who keeps the breakfast area clean and the food area well stocked - he is a gem! The only down side to this location is that the odd-numbered rooms are separated from the 501 Highway by their parking lot and not much else so there can be a bit of road noise, but nothing that ear plugs or a white-noise generator can't take care of. Beds are fairly firm. They do have an elevator and an exercise room. Great place to stay for the price.

The room was like new. Super clean. The staff was great. The breakfast was OK. It was the typical hotel breakfast . Everything was clean!

Regardless of who was on duty, the staff acknowledged me and greeted me, the overall hotel and halls were quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast had everything I was hoping to enjoy and then some. The next time I am in Lynchburg, this will be my choice.

The staff was friendly but the facility is run down a bit. The first room they gave me smelled bad and was changed. The second room had a light switch that didn’t work and a shower head that wasn’t tight. The paint by the shower was chipping pretty bad.

The bed was so comfortable! Very, very, very, very clean. Can’t complain at all about our stays. Definitely will be back! Some potential improvements are Keurig/K cup coffee maker in the room instead of the pour over and freezer in the mini fridge would’ve been nice as well.

Excellent staff. Special thanks to Rebecca for helping with extra keys at check in, Elvis with breakfast and Nicholas with cleaning up the room after. Bathroom was a little cramped but room was clean and bed was comfortable.
