There was no Office to check into. We got a code for the door and when we opened it the bed was a mess and not made, dirty wet towels were on the bathroom floor.

1st...just trying to get the door opened..they give you the code but don't tell you about the other buttons that need to be pushed/used...2nd...you had to body slam yourself to get the door open. The carpet and floor are so warped the door wouldn't open or close without a body slam..the door wouldn't lock . The 4 batteries in the door fell out when you either open or closed the door..3rd..it was very damp in the room..4th..no hot/cold symbols on the water handles..it took awhile to figure out what was H/or C..it took the hot awhile to kick in..5th..the exterior needs to be repainted and clean...this property has the potential to look good. But the current exterior looks like something from the hood..this is one of the worst places I've been to..I will not be recommending it to others..

The location is premium No staff. No shower curtain. Door kept getting caught on carpet very hard to open. Never got the email with the door access code. Never stayed at a hotel like this where you get an email with the door access code before you get there.

The walls are nicely done in tongue & grove siding. they look nice. The bathroom is not going to look nice for long as the wall around the lavatory will be a mess and the base boards will be a mess. Location was good. When we got there we were directed to #6 w/combination for the door. A gentleman informed us that that was their room, and they had been in the room and used the rest room. He then called and got re-assigned. Our combination did not work at that point. We called in and waited forever and finally got an attendant to sign us a new combination which was necessary for security purposes. It was rather cold in the room with no heat. I slept with turtle neck, long johns and heavy pajamas, and I survived. Lighting was bad. didn't get the TV to work.

It’s in the middle of the city and close to everything. The rooms smelled molding. I wish they replaced the carpet and the bathroom top with the walls.

We know it is under new ownership and that Rennovations are company. From the outside is worried us but after the end it surprises us. GREAT LOCATION … Hot water and great water pressure.

PLUG ON WALL DID NOT WORK, SO WE DID NOT HAVE TV OR INTERNET FOR OUR STAY. ENDED UP LEAVING EARLY.

Very nice and comfy little place with basic creature comforts, you check in with a code the property manager sends via email, no front office or desk to check in, I loved the place, centrally located in Mackinac city, walking distance to everything, the parking lot is dark at night but the place is safe, left the motorcycles in the parking lot with on issues what so ever, if you are looking for basic accommodations for a really reasonable price, this is the place

Nothing Couldn't find. Wrong name on sign. No heat 57 degrees outside. Missed dinner and fire works waiting for matinance to fix heat. Bed was very uncomfortable. TV did not work. No internet. Would not refund so we could be on our way.

I gave it a mostly good rating as the room was newly updated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are some things they can do to make it look a little nicer but it was perfect for what we needed. The worst part was the communication. We never got the email to give us our room number, code or wifi password. We had to call and even then they said the info needed to check in would come from where I booked it (hotels.com) which was odd as the chat I got from the hotel said it would come from them. They also said parking was included, well the lot was full so I had to park on the street in the "3 hour parking zone". Luckily we didn't get a ticket. I messaged them asking about parking and they just didn't reply. Wish they would have communicated better.

I did not like that the sign did not match the name of the hotel. I did not like that there was no one on site at the motel the entire time we were there. The parking lot and outside of the motel needs maintenance and the bathrooms need to be updated.

Location was good. Overall, everything was satisfactory. The room was ok. Overall set up of the room was not to my liking. Light under the TV did not work. Incorrect sign on the hotel, and couldn’t locate the address. Curb side appeal was terrible.

carpet was too high, shower was spraying everywhere, had to adjust it to get it not to spray everywhere, the location is good, just needs some TLC.

Better mattress Spare toilet paper roll

It was a good motel but it was the wrong name and i only had 1 bed when i was supposed to have 2

The young man who cleaned the rooms was incredibly helpful and saved me, twice. The room was recently remodeled so don’t be put off by the outside. A couple minor inconveniences…tough to plug things in and I think our remote needed new batteries. Other than that, I would stay there again.

The passcode didn't work; our message to host received no reply. Next door neighbor couldn't get our passcode to work either. She was also waiting for host reply since there was a strong smell of gas in the small house they paid for. The whole place is not cared for. We had to book a different hotel, and there's no communicating with them now.
