Burke Mansion

Access to complimentary drinks was appreciated. The decor was very much in period and certainly added to the ambience of the mansion. The large number of dead flies and roaches on the floor of the bedroom was off putting. The unsecured toilet seat was dangerous and led to several anxious moments particularly at night!! Breakfast was well cooked but limited in choice and amount. The price we paid led us to expect more.

Lovely property, amazing welcome and comfy bed. Excellent breakfast. An excellent night Nothing particular. We were the sole guests on a midweek night and got an upgraded room with a lovely bathroom

The location was close to restaurants (about a 15 minute walk) and close to two historic home which we visited. Breakfast was very good, coffee as well and served in a beautiful dining room in the house. The house is spectacular, museum like, well cared for. Property manager was very cordial, helpful and a pleasure to have met. We enjoyed our first visit to Macon and had a wonderful experience at the Burke Mansion. We would stay again and recommend it. Our bed was a bit too soft for my spouse's liking. Our bathroom was on the small size. Next time we will opt for a larger room but overall very lovely.

Everything Nothing

The property is fantastic. It feels like you are staying in a museum, yet at the same time it is beautiful and cozy. Every detail of the interior is thoughtfully designed. The location is excellent and very close to the main sightseeing attractions. Breakfast is great as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Nothing

This historic home is furnished and very well appointed. The shower water could have been a bit hotter.

Delicious breakfast

The staff was very warm and welcoming, the home itself is beautiful and the food was the perfect comfort food. We really appreciated how much Brianna was so helpful in making our stay comfortable and pleasant. This was my second time here and I look forward to my next stay. It would be helpful to have a full length mirror in the rooms and more level spaces to place your items. It would also help to have multiplugs to charge items. Outlets are few in the rooms.

We loved our evening in this very grand historic home. The architecture and furnishings were so lovely and the house is beautifully preserved. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very accommodating and friendly. The whole experience was over-the- top exceptional!!

Would have been better if we didn't have todrag our suitcase up and down the stairs.

Excellent home cooked food.

We needed a place to stay for one night while on a road trip and are very happy to have found this gracious, stately home! Everything was perfect!
