Quality Inn & Suites Mankato East

Hotel was horrible. Carpet was wet, room felt and smelt damp. Our room had an armchair with a seat cushion that didn’t match the chair and the vinyl on the cushion was all ripped up. Big hole in the carpet. Bedding was stained. There was a mysterious sauce stain on the phone handle. The phone didn’t have a way to contact the front desk. Ceiling had holes both in the room and hallway. The outside siding was severely damaged

There were ants in the bathroom and rusty trim as well. We did not feel comfortable staying so we asked for a refund and went to another hotel!

The price and location was nice but we ultimately cancelled the room due to reasons explained below. Upon entering it appeared staff allows family to include a ton of young children to run around. Front desk person took forever to come to lobby. Phone to call front desk was gross and filthy. We checked in and got our room. On the way the floor in the lobby and hallways was filthy and stained. It had a terrible smell throughout the whole hotel. We got to our room and it wasn’t even cleaned yet. Went to the front desk and cancelled the stay with a promise that our refund would be the next day. It took over a week and 3 phone calls to get a refund.

Very comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and the pool is clean, although very shallow.....only 3.5 ft deep. Great location to everything. Shallow pool....but good for kids.

The room was clean and the air conditioner worked. The room was definitely dated in terms of carpet and bedding. The bathtub has seen better days as it looked moldy by the drain. Cheap shampoo and conditioner available in the shower. Decent water pressure in the shower. The electric outlet plug ins were loose on the nightstand light and when I tried to plug my phone charger in, they didn't stay charging. I needed to use the actual wall outlets to plug in my chargers. Breakfast was typical scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, packaged muffins, and yogurt. Location was good in that there was numerous restaurants in the area. I did not use the pool or hot tub. No elevator available either which wasn't an issue for me, but could be for others.

Dirty place. Whole building stinking curry, garlic and urine!!! Blankets with feces stains, dirty windows, mirror dirty. Never go there!!!

My uncle booked this location to be close to the Mayo Clinic for two weeks to avoid traveling back and forth to Mississippi. The hotel does not look anything like the pictures advertised on this site. The linen was clean and the ceiling appears to have a roof leak. It was not a place for him to stay comfortably for two weeks. He checked out the next day due to arrival time and driving the distance

Convenience Mold on bathroom walls and almost detached sink facet

The was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The yard and outside was long and unkempt but I thought maybe the inside would be better. The room was disgusting. Tub was so dirty and stained, linens were also stained and dirty looking, the seat of the chair had most of the finish gone, dirt or blood dried down the side of the trash. These were just a few of the things. I didn’t bring any body wash as I thought they would have soap. They had one small bar of soap that we had to use for the sink and shower. My son was so grossed out by the shower and linens he wouldn’t even shower there. No amount of money was worth staying here. There was a Quality flyer that was sticky and dirty that showed all the food things about this place. After taking a picture of it I threw it in the trash as it was so disgusting.

There was poop on the floor and i stepped in it while walking to the pool.

Old & dirty bathroom coffe machines in room & down stairs do not work. Breakfast was slim & out both days. So over priced for what we got & I use to travel for work. Bottom of the barrel.

Old property. Not clean. Grouchy staff. Worst property I’ve stayed at in a very long time!

Location and price. bathoom was not in good shape -- was in need of repairs -- the sink faucet was very loose and nearly coming off -- there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Bathtub around the drain was rusty. TV did not work. Lamp did not work.

The beds were decently comfortable. Room temperature was fine. Grumpy old man at the front desk complained that we used the phone to summon desk service wrong. The sign said pick up phone for assistance. I picked it up, it triggered a loud tone, I set it down. Apparently I was supposed to speak into it. I informed him that the shampoo and conditioner in our room were empty, the TV didn't turn on, and the shower squealed like a stuck pig while being held together with caulking. I didn't bother to mention the breakfast where they ran out of coffee and eggs. When egg arrived later, they were terrible anyway. I did enjoy a sausage bagel sandwich. The waffle maker griddle doesn't lock into place when open. When my wife was pouring in mix, the lid slammed down, almost burned her and splattered waffle batter all over her.
