This was the most affordable option on an overnight in Mankato. If you are looking for a high-end hotel, and you are really particular, this probably isn't the hotel for you. But if you are looking for an affordable stay, this is a good option. The room and bathroom showed decent wear, but wer both clean. The desk chair was broken when I get in my room, but I called the front desk and staff had it replaced within 2 minutes. I was hoping to be able to extend my check out time an hour or so, and they didn't let me do that, but only because they were full and needed to get the rooms turned (which they explained). The breakfast that was included was certainly sufficient and comparable to other hotels with included breakfast. The staff were curteous and kind and I was able to stay in the lobby after check out and continue to work until needing to depart. The pool and hot tub looked clean (although I didn't use them). Decent location in Mankato, near to other, more expensive hotel options.

The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean. It was very outdated and kind of rundown. The blankets were clean, but they looked very worn and stained.

Booked a king, got out in a double Queen room. Room smelled heavily of mildew and smoke despite being non-smoking. We bought and used a can and spray bottle of febreeze on the room then left for 4 hours hoping it would make some difference. It did not help, still smelled of smoke and mildew when we returned. Tub was missing a drain grate and looked moldy and damaged. It was not humid outside but the room was damp feeling, even with AC running, couldn't open windows. This made surfaces feel sticky and unclean. Beds were poorly made, sheets not tucked in and comforters hanging loosely. Toilet did not flush, had to open the tank and physically reset the ball so it would fill after any use. Everything appeared clean; floors, table, nightstands, bedding, and bathroom with exception of the tub drain. Pictures on the website are not accurate, maybe from when the property was first built or from a different property entirely. Front desk staff was kind. The smell and dampness was off putting. It prompted us to leave after coming back for the night after our event and drive 3 hours home. There was not an offer for a refund or discount when leaving early because of the state of the room.

Nothing. We booked two nights and ended up leaving after the first night. It was gross, black mold in the room, in the ac, etc. Just all around dirty from the minute you walk in! Everything. We left after the first night as it was so gross and black mold all over in our room from the bathroom to the ac unit. Etc. Also the tv didn't work, fan in the bathroom didn't work. Just all around dirty, gross, and not in working order.

Extremely out of date, old, our room smelled terrible. Bathroom was so out of date, walls dirty, sink disgusting, chair was so old fabric was worn off and missing. Our sheets had cigarette burn/holes in them.

We found a used nail clipper in one of the beds, cockroach in the bathroom, and another big I can’t name in the hallway the size of a gulf ball. We did stay the night bc we had no where to go and the discovery of the roach was in the morning after.

This hotel is very outdated and run down. The ceiling had serious water damage, the lighting was extremely dim and I literally found a raisin in my bed?!? The bathtub was full of rust and corrosion and the curtain was seriously stained. They were doing some sort of repair in the parking lot when we arrived and I ended up running over some large rubber chunk of material which thankfully didn't blow my tire. Never again.
