Clean rooms, big swiming pools with slides, breakfast is good, staff have been nice since checkin. Refregirator not working properly, TV not working because of poor satellite signal.

The rooms are a little on the small side, but they do have private porches where you can sit back and relax, which was a nice touch. Every morning starts with a delicious breakfast buffet that offers a great variety of options. One of the highlights was the pool area. There are fun water slides, a separate kiddie pool that’s perfect for little ones, and an adults-only pool for anyone looking for a quieter, more relaxing experience. The hotel’s location is another big plus—it’s conveniently located in Marrakech and close to shopping, restaurants, and many attractions, making it easy to get around. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and we truly enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for a clean, family-friendly hotel with great amenities and a convenient location, Grand Mogador is definitely worth considering!

The hotel manager was super nice.. The breakfast is good. You have variety of Moroccan food. I love that the facility is huge. The kids locked the pool with the slides. I didn’t like the fact that they give you only two towels at the pool per room even if you’re three people I had to beg for the third one . The staff gave me a hard time every time I was asking for three towels and they made me feel like I’m gonna steal them specially last day they were telling me that am supposed to leave today, so make sure that you bring the towels back otherwise you’re gonna be charged and that made me feel uncomfortable, never had such similar experience in my entire life.

The aqua park for kids was very nice. The kids really enjoyed the slides, which is the main reason why we chose this hotel. It’s also close to the Al Mazar shopping mall (15 min walk). Some of the staff were not really nice. For exemple, I ordered something at the restaurant, they gave me something else, then didn’t want to change it saying I was wrong. They were slighty aggressive, when I was totally calm. I just accepted their mistake and paid for it. Also, they told me the gym open at 8am, so I go there at 8am, I wait… until 8:10, someone tell me to wait another 5 min… so I wait more…until someone else tells me the gym opens at 9am. Just little unfortunate moments like that, that adds up during your stay…

The people

The room was spacious and had a lovely view. The pool was clean and fun to use. The breakfast was good. The only downside was that the plugs weren’t very conveniently placed.

I like the coffee at breakfast. I like the comforters in the beds. I like the breakfast. I like the gym, I actually felt a burn (they use resistance and not weight machines). I like musical show on stage. I also like the pool games. Some of the staff was a little harsh and irrational, I get it but still. I found poop under the water slides. One staff member didn’t let me swim in one of the pools with my shirt on because I have a skin condition. The lower level rooms are smelly and old they should be fixed and updated. The slides were not all open and I was really hoping to go on the big slides

The lady with the long hair was not friendly at all. The mold in the bathroom. The missing shower curtain The broken elevator to go up the rooms The crayon drawing in the room in many places The broken shower head The broken creaking bed frame The fact that towels are not provided during the housekeeping clean up but way later The phone to call the reception The reception staff again. Who did not blink when I listed my issues nor attempted to even write them to fake interest.

Clean, very close to Marrakech downtown, quiet area. It should be renovated.

Breakfast was excellent. Carpets are dirty. Hotel staff are ok. Not so good to help get taxis or to guide tourists to visit local attractions.

I didn't like the reception was very could welcoming even when I told him the price is to chip from booking.com he didn't pe attention that I request pool view so he give us very bad room so smells bad he didn't explain to us about breakfast and timing like the other timing of leaving the room for the next day .however staff by the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming good service . Food need to improve it as I test the sausage was very hard no test at all no omelet station as we use to found it

The breakfast was decent and varied and the pools were well kept. The hotel is tired and the carpets in the hallwall are old, very dirty and stained. We stayed twice - we went for a week tour of Morocco and the hotel looked after some of our luggagge. The first time we stayed, we were given a suite which was probably the worse room in the hotel. It was dark - only one single light bulb in the chandelier, two small lights in the bedroom and windows were small; dated; filthy dark carpet; safe didn't work; fridge didn't work. We requested a change and were given a smaller but better brighter room. When we returned to the hotel for a single-night-stay the second time, we requested the room we stayed in previously, but inexplicably we were given the room next door. That room had the following problems - safe didn't work, shower didn't work properly, telephone didn't work, no water glasses and insufficient towels. I walked to reception and requested a room change. They put us in the room we had stayed in before. Why our request was not granted in the first place, it seems the reception staff was just being uncooperative.

It's clean, the swimming pool and pool area is always clean . Breakfast was good. For 2 days it was good enough I would stay for very long time . We had a room facing the pool which was amazing , the room was spacious beds were comfy. The place is beautiful but a bit old . (The room , hall and outside of the hotel ) it could use a little paint and fresh look.

Bad service the phone in the room doesn’t work the bed no comfortable the TV doesn’t work ?

The swimming pools were the best thing. They have water volleyball and water excercise things going on to keep you entertained. That was the only good thing. My 6y preferred the other hotel which just had a pool. Not many people speak English. The breakfast is chaos with no way near enough seating and dirty cutlery. Apart form hotel reception, the rooms and hallways are dirty and muddy. Rooms had spiders in and we're very dated. The bathtub looked 20y old with stains in. The shower head didn't work properly. Glad I only spent 2 nights here and switched hotels. Like I said the only good thing was the water sports. Kids show at night wasn't very entertaining if their above the age of 5y.

The Restaurant staff were unbelievable, can't thank them enough, very lovely and accommodating. Especially with my young children. The rest of the staff were atrocious. The 'DJ' and pool staff were very rude and aggressive. The reception staff spent most of the time taking room service calls and ignoring the requests. The cleaning staff spent most time taking the towels and not returning them, when they did clean, would forget to put covers on and when asked at reception, would ignore until the next day.
