Dust road to get to the property. Construction noise in the morning.

It was an immaculate property , stayed at the Villa which was a huge size and some up very tastefully. The staff is unbelievable and always available . The service quality is unmatched . Ayoub and the girls do a fantastic job , and they really did make our stay 5 star plus ! I wish the pool at the Villa was heated . But that’s just minor.

The vibe of the property was magical and soothing, the staff were very nice and welcoming, a big thanks to Mr.Adil and the amazing staff for making our stay feel as enjoyable as it was.

The place is beautiful and feels truly Moroccan. The decoration is authentic and elegant. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooftop had a nice view and the room was clean and comfortable. Everything was great overall. If I had to mention one thing.

What an amazing place! We checked in at a different hotel on the first day, in the city centre, but were extremely disappointed so the next day we checked out, then found this hotel on this site and wow wow wow... it's definitely worth a 30 minutes drive from town every day, just to stay here, amazing people work there, amazing looking place, very very personalised experience, will definitely recommend to everybody.

The staff were terrific and it was clean. Important to note that the premisis does not have a licence so no alcohol and the nearest place to buy alcohol is 30 mins and a €90 car ride away so stock up at duty free on your way out. Amenities were limited to hair and body wash combined and small moisturiser. We thought we had a room with a patio but this isn’t the case for any of the rooms. Also everything from a mid morning coffee to a glass of morrocan mint tea in the afternoon is charged to the bill at eye watering prices.

The villa was exceptional. Everything even better than advertised on the website. Also, the staff was great. 1)it was 30min ride from marrakech which is a problem as the transfers are 45-60euro per direction. 2) no alcohol.

    Superb

We stayed in a villa which was lovely and spacious. The private pool was huge and the gardens beautiful and well kept. Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast (including for 7am check out) and considerate and welcoming staff 1- The food at the hotel is good but incredibly expensive (4x what you would pay in Marrakesh for similar quality, 55 EUR a head). Worse still the prices aren’t declared in advance (no menu and one option to buy 3’e course dinner) or even declared on the bill afterwards. Fortunately we asked! The manager tried to justify this by claiming next door is twice as expensive… we ended up travelling into Marrakesh every night as there are no other local options (was still half the price) 2- the bathrooms smelt like drains. When we arrived incense burners were in the rooms to try and mask this. When we complained more burners were added but the smell still lingered 3- the air con had issues. We complained and they fixed it in one room but the other was still sweltering throughout our trip 4- the kitchen has no utensils, pans or crockery other than 4 plates, 4 knives and forks and 4 tiny coffee cups. It was almost like they wanted to force you to eat their overpriced food rather than cooking…

We loved the hotel, it was absolutely amazing. The interior was beautiful, very relaxing and calm. The staff were unbelievably kind, helpful, accommodating and friendly. I would like to especially mention Nabil and Hiba at reception, and everyone else in the hotel for their hospitality. If I was to come again to Marrakech, I would definitely stay at Palais Alcazar. The only thing I didn't like was the location. I understand it is not something the hotel can change, but there is utterly nothing around the hotel, it is very secluded and far from the city. Getting to and from the city was a little scary for us, as we were just two girls. The area that the hotel is in is very secluded and getting to the hotel, there is no buildings, people or security. We relied on taxis, but even then coming back in the evening in a taxi to the hotel was scary for us.

The Palais Alcazar is situated 20 minutes by car from the centre of Marrakech. Don’t be alarmed by the approach as it is located in an area undergoing re-development. Once through the gates, you’ll be greeted by an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Our room, which was in a Riad, was well appointed ‘though a bit dark. (The image on the website has been taken with the windows open but they aren’t glazed). The garden has been sympathetically planted with species including Bougainvillea, Madagascan Periwinkle, Brazilian peppertree, Chinese hibiscus and Weeping figs. We were very well looked after by Hiba, Abdel, Younes, Omaima, Chama and the other staff. Whilst the hotel may be 5-star by Moroccan standards, it is not by international standards; although, to be fair, the prices aren’t either. It took a number of visits from housekeeping before the heating worked satisfactorily. We never managed to get the TV channels to work (possibly because the TV was not connected to a satellite?) Fortunately, the television was intelligent so we could access YouTube, Netflix and Prime Video. Our main disappointment was with the dinner menu which was uninspiring, boring and repetitive. The food was not particularly well cooked and expensive for what it was. Alternatives were not really an option given the hotel’s location.

    Beautiful, comfortable, clean.

Beautiful property. Very spacious rooms. The facilities weren’t available that the website stated. No fitness centre. No spa. Massages were done in your room. Even though it was beautiful, the value for money was not there. The staff seemed flustered, kept sending whatsapps at strange times and it seemed as though they were not ready for us, as the property is still being “built”. We had to look for people to start breakfast in the mornings and it just did not match what we paid for. Definitely not a 5 star experience.

I couldn't be more thankful for each and every member of this establishment. Thank you for being there for me each and every minute of the day. Extremely warm staff and beautiful well kept property. Calm and relaxing, it makes you feel the property is all yours. The overall experience definitely fulfills everyone dreams of a stay in Marrakech , architecture, food, and hospitality of the locals. The property is 20 min away from the city but full of attractions inhouse or in the vicinity. Chose from the beautiful pool and pool bar in the facility, to spas , horse back riding, desert Camel strolls dune bashing and hot air balloons all few minutes away , pick up included. This is a completely different experience than your typical Marrakech post card. Definitely worse the stay My 4 day stay was short
