I spent $9k for 2 ‘Resort facing rooms’ for 3 nights (with Expedia). See photo. When we arrived three hours early, we told the staff but didn’t expect to get in the rooms. We went to lunch instead. The front desk guy, Jeremy took care of us and said he would text when he had the rooms available. We hung out at the oool happily. But it got to 430 and nothing… I had called 3 times but was told they would text when the rooms became available. Check in time is 4. When we got to the front desk, an older lady helped us and when I told her we hadnt got a text, she got pretty stern and was unfriendly . I think it pissed her off so much that we got the room we got. It was sad. Our teen kids got a slightly better room though. Don’t book resort facing rooms! Avoid rooms 241-641 I’m out $9k for a dismal experience. Pools are great! This is my first 👎 I rarely give reviews, but felt the need to this time. .

Wonderful hotel! The property and amenities are gorgeous and every member of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there immensely.

I cannot even express how incredibly gorgeous and breathtaking the property is; everywhere you look it is mesmerizing. The staff was top notch, the amenities were so great, and the breakfast was lovely. We looked at many resorts in Wailea and I can confidently say that after staying at the Andaz there is no competition. We even ate at the Four Seasons and were not wowed because we just loved Andaz so much! LOL The only thing we didn’t love was the Alfredo and Parmesan fries at Andaz but everything else was pretty tasty. The room was also fantastic; everything was fully stocked daily if you requested them to service your room. There is even an Ohana lounge after checkout that has showers, complimentary drinks, etc. which was incredible for us! We checked our luggage and enjoyed the property alllll day because of that additional lounge access amenity. Paddle boarding on the ocean and the outrigger was also so cool, and there were so many different options of water equipment that you could easily check out even without booking a session. I have to say this was 10/10 and we have already discussed making Andaz our yearly getaway. It is unmatched. What a perfect and romantic getaway, ugh! I am sooo sad to even leave!

Wonderful stay overall. Hard for two to share one bathroom. Only one sink and mirror.

Great hotel. Stayed there many times. Our only disappointment was the dinner was had the pool bar. The food was terrible. We ordered sides of broccoli and it was served with a spaghetti meat sauce on the top. We couldn’t eat it.

The Andaz resort was absolutely beautiful. The views from the lobby and ocean viewcrooms was breathtaking! The staff was exceptionally attentive to our needs. We woyld highly recommend the Andaz resort. The rooms were clean & very spacious. Loved the shower.

Clean rooms, wonderful pools, food is average, better to escape to Kihie food trucks for great food. Love the QR code poolside menu service. Food is the big disappointment other than Morimoto. Only valet parking, $59 a night if you use car during the day, $50 daily resort fee, 18% service charge on prices for poolside service and then tip on top of that. Great location and very clean everywhere.

You cannot beat the location, luxury, and friendly staff at the Andaz. Many pools to choose from and right on the beach

Everything is great at this hotel/resort except parking. Only option is valet whic is overpriced and understaffed- otherwise its an excellent place to stay for a great family vacation
-
The property was beautiful, the room well designed and attractive, and the pools were plentiful and small so they were not crowded.
-
excellent hotel and location. Great pools and beach access
-
Just a great all-round vacation

Pools were excellent, and the service was fantastic.

The Andaz is just beautiful. We loved the location, the pool and the activities they offered. The only downside was the pool chairs were hard to get with so many people putting their stuff down and then disappearing all day. They could have enforced this better. But overall we would love to stay again!

One minor fault - the on-site charging capability for electric cars was not working. This was disclosed on the third day, not when I parked my vehicle on check-in. A five-star LEED rated facility should have a back-up plan.

I think this was our 4th stay at the Andaz in the last couple of years (each time we come, we stay for at least a week). Service-wise, the staff is fantastic and most of the staff even remember us from prior visits and are wonderful. I am surprised that the front desk always seems to be overwhelmed. We had asked to be in the building overlooking the adult pool and were told there were no rooms available. Although we had paid for an oceanfront room, the room we received was on the lowest floor and barely had an ocean view. In later conversations with the staff, we found out that the majority of the rooms were unoccupied this week. Although we love the Andaz, we will probably explore more options for our next trip.
