Holiday Inn Express & Suites McAllen - Medical Center Area by IHG

Staff was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on local restaurants, check in/out was a breeze. Perfect location right in the middle of McAllen next to the medical center. This entire property is spotless, well maintained and recently updated. We stayed in a double queen suite for a hunting trip and the room was large with very comfortable beds. Amenities include a very nice outdoor pool, fancy gym/fitness center, meeting space, large comfortable lobby, breakfast area and great parking. We didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast since it started at 630am and we were already in the dove fields 26 minutes away by that point but I’m sure it was great. The convenience items (snacks and laundry detergent, toiletries) were all competitively priced, and much more affordable than other hotels. I would highly recommend!

We only stayed one night, and it was quite pleasant! The only minor complaint that I have is that the air unit was a bit loud.

Exceptional

Location is good and room is enough to have rear. Shower room has mold on the joints, no hot water just warm. Breakfast is OK.

Exceptional

Excelente staff y cuartos y baño super limpios y confortables

Superb

Wifi kept dropping

Very good

The staff was awesome The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was very clean Wifi kept dropping

The only issue we had is that the room smelled like dirty socks. The carpet was old. And there was dirt all around the carpet floorboards. There was also mold around the shower floor and glass doors

Stayed there for 4 nights. Room was dirty. Carpets stained, Chairs had stains. Sheets had stains. Would not stay in this hotel again because of that. Staff was helpful and nice. Pool area would not get cleaned the next day. Towels and chairs thrown everywhere.

Beds where comfy. Place was clean only complaint I had was black out blind was stuck partially open.

Seemed like the shower wasn’t cleaned well.

Nice stay better than most

Everything was amazing. Staff super helpful

Rooms were nice and clean. We had a good first night. Second night, the people in the room above us were jumping/running around for about an hour. Called the front desk and they tried calling the room with no success. They had to move us into a different room for the second night

I liked that the room was clean, friendly staff, breakfast was always on point and the outdoor pool was awesome! No complaints at all! We would ask for more towels and the response was always sure and never you are limited. The staff was great, and they went above and beyond! We will stay here again, for sure!

No I love it all
