The breakfast wasn't well-stocked and after we ate, we were brought a bill. I didn't see the part about the breakfast being not included, and that was on me. The bill for $17.99 per person was a little steep for some cut up melon and a small chocolate mufffiin Should have gone to the all you can eat buffet across the parking lot. We did that the second day and enjoyed our full breakfast with made-to-order omelettes. Also, the front desk arranged for a trash pickup/clean the next day which did not happen. Won't be staying here again, but liked McAllen. We'll be back to McAllen, for sure.

Hotel needs some updating, the building is older but the staff are extremely nice. The hotel shuttle is especially awesome…many hotels where I travel no longer provide that service and it was delightfully convenient.

The property was okay from the lobby and parking area. I didn’t notice receive my room even tho I was charged. They charged my card and the payment went through on my end, just for them to say that they did not receive payment on their end. I was left without a room for the night and without a place to stay for the night. They told me to call my bank to verify payment so I did and after my bank verified with the hotel, the hotel staff said there was still nothing they could do to help me that I would have to pay again. I repeat, left without a place to sleep for the night.
