Motel 6 Mcallen, TX

So... There ya have it.

Ok stay for a budget motel. The only complaint was the bed was to soft.

Everything was so dirty and gross. The bathroom was stained, the sheets had holes AND there were roaches.

Room was very clean. A/C was cold. However one of the stairs had broken steps which is a safety issue.

Privacy Around different places to go and do

Hotel is rundown the showerhead was terrible. It was falling off leaking from behind the fitting, but the sheets were clean and the towels were clean, even though they weren’t big enough to dry you off those hand towels we had to use.

The bed AND the A/C was fine.

My biggest complaint is the quality of the beds. Our room had 2 double size and both were totally worn out actually hurt our back after a 1-night stay. The bathroom has loose laminate plank flooring that showed not having been cleaned in some time and the toilet was loose. The room furniture was well worn and not in good repair, we had room 114. My wife and I will not be staying here again.

My daughter had a room here also and her TV could not be used as it would power on and off on its own. Then search all the channels and when I stopped it was on full blast. And the remote and buttons on the TV didn't work.

Le falta mucho mantenimiento, ya se ve muy descuidado, partes rotas, viejas y despintadas, horno de microondas sucio, bañera sucia, piso sucio. Lamentablemente han dejado caer mucho el hotel.

El lavabo también le falta mantenimiento. Se tarda mucho en drenar el agua.

Location Property needs to be remodeled!

Made a 2 day reservation and paid in advance. I show up yo check in and they had no rooms available. They cancel my reservation and say i will get my money back. After a week no refund had been processed. I contact hotel and get no answer. I contact booking.com and after 6 days they say hotel hasnt responded and closed my case

this was one of the most disappointing hotels i've ever stayed @ for the price ; we usually stay @ the other location but there was a discount on a room here so i booked it thinking it would be equal qlty to their other location which is so much better ; its night & day this room was work maybe $50/ night @ best but the AC did not work ; the tub had mold , dirt & something that looked like cigarette burns ; the toilet was PEELING ; there was a hole in the wall about the size of a fist by the door ; it was so bad we spent most our days away from the room until we actually had to go to bed

The place is a dump. Showers and bathrooms are disgustingly awful

It was good for what I needed it for, it’s obviously not going to be AMAZING but I’ve seen reviews here talking about how it’s just awful but that’s not true at all, I’ve stayed here twice and have had a good experience both times. The shower was dirty and the lights above the bed didn’t work.
