This is a good budget option in the area. The pool is ok, but needs some minor repairs. The rooms are sufficient. Things are clean.

Stayed for one night only but it was everything I needed. The hotel is nice and well located, near malls, banks and next to an ihop. The staff was kind and helpful and the room was clean. It seems they keep the place well maintained. I would come back or recommend.

It was a good stay we ended up transferring to another room after our inicial room AC was not working but over all the staff was quick to respond and swiftly switched us to more confortable room. Thank you so much for everything

Plenty of convenient parking. Walk to shopping mall. Weather was too rainy to try the pool.

Friendly staff, nice pool. Location is perfect you can walk to the Mall and to the airport, will stay again.

The place is located seconds from the mall and lots of eating places and a Starbucks two blocks away. Overall I would stay here again.

La Copa is where I stay when I am visiting my family in McAllen in South Texas. It is next to the La Plaza mall with amazing shops, especially good around Black Friday sales and a varied food hall. One member of staff that stood out was Hector who was night manager when I arrived. Due to multiple delays on American Airlines we got the McAllen at 11:45 pm and by the time we got our luggage is was well past midnight and THERE WERE NO TAXIS! I called the hotel and spoke to Hector saying I was stuck at the airport and he arranged an Uber car to collect me on his account. I was collected in less than 15 minutes and eventually got to the hotel very late but safely! My room was very clean and comfortable. Thanks again to Hector!
