Wyndham Garden McAllen at La Plaza Mall

Location is perfect

Rooms were dirty , staff didn’t know how to key rooms had to go three times to rekey ! Very frustrating will not use them again !

Staff and Breakfast

This was my first stay at this hotel but will not be my last. Hotel was very inviting, staff was awesome. Room was everything I expected. Pool area was great. Definitely staying here on my next trip.

2. While waiting 2 hours for resolution, I wasn’t even offered a bottle of water. 3. The parking lot is poorly paved - broken payment and rocky so with a roller bag… 4. Dirty floors in room - my feet were dirty without shoes. 5. Three different types of eggs and no meat. 6. Takes the clerks an extended time to look up something on the computer due to unnecessary steps or lack of training. 7. A lady manager who seems perturbed with me because I was perturbed with a pre paid cancellation. 8. A suite but with cheap plastic cups. 9. The ice machine is in another building. Wyndham is the hotel that “wants to be” and a cross between most Choice brands.

Staff very professional and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable.

I arrived at the property and was highly disappointed. My room wasn't clean and there was a stain on the bed! There was also an old bar of soap left in the shower. I definitely won't be back!

Rooms and restrooms were very clean. Staff super nice and understanding. Great breakfast. Kitchen very clean. Pool clean Great to go swimming.

The location and the breakfast I received a handycap room. The shower was difficult. The room was to noisy, it was hard to sleep

I loved the indoor/outdoor pool! I didn't like that little kids were jumping in the water from the jacuzzi, but I did love swimming in the pool. The outdoor area looks very nice. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Everybody we encountered was very nice! We greatly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely stay at Wyndham again!! The only thing I didn't like was being in the pool and having kids jumping from the jacuzzi ledge into the pool.

The people at the front desk were polite and helpful. But everybody else and their staff really wasn't. When asking a question nobody seemed to use words. They would just point at a sign or gesture as if they didn't know English nor Spanish. Breakfast was horrible and also ends an hour earlier than expected. The blinds in the room are just for aesthetics, not functional. So the sun wakes you up roughly at 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. whether you want to wake up or not. I won't ever be going back to this establishment
