We had booked a non-smoking room, but you could very much tell that it had been smoked in, and it also smelled like pee. There was dirt and filth all over the carpets and the chair in the room. The only semi-clean place was the bathroom. There was also a hole in the bathroom door that looked like it had been punched, as well as blood on our carpet. I couldn’t even be in the room for 10 minutes before I went to the front desk to explain that we had booked a non-smoking room. We were told that our room was the only one left and were offered a refund. My boyfriend and I waited a little while so we could call other places outside of the room because I was not able to breathe in there. We eventually found a different place to stay. The front desk lady was very nice, though, and was the only good thing about our experience there. Again, I hate to write bad reviews, but I feel like it is necessary so others don’t waste their money or count on this place to stay like we did, only to have to find another hotel at the last minute.

The room was pretty warm and nothing could be done other than opening a window, but the owner was so sweet and generous! Very helpful and kind service which made the heat more bearable for sure.

This place was stink and filled with bugs. The rooms all smell horrible. The room I was assigned to the door was open and someone was obviously occupying the room.
-
Its in a very inconvienient spot...no stores with in walking distance, they advertise a casino and continental breakfast but have neither, the rooms look NOTHING like the ones they advertise online, tbe owners are stuck up, rude and money hungry!!!

This property needs an entire new renovation. Do not stay, unless you are comfortable with a dirty stay.

Rooms are not habitable. Smell like very old ashtrays. Tub was all rust. A/C Filters were black slime. Bugs roaming freely over furniture. Took keys back to immediately check out. Was told refund would have to come from specific booking co. Wasted hour on phone and then told its a different booking co. Called back and then finally told refund would have to come from Ecno Lodge. They reached out and said NO REFUND. I am currently taking it up with my CC company and will take it further if necessary. Unless this Ecno Lodge gets an entire REMODEL do NOT stay here.

Overall this room is a -5 on a 1 to 10 scale and I would recommend you go literally anywhere else. We spent 10 minutes in the room before we just left and drove to the next hotel down the road. Nearby activities They have an outdoor pool, becareful if you have kids because the door with all the chemicals is hanging open. Safety I did not feel safe at this location. Food & drinks They had a nice list with a selection of snacks you could purchase. They only had one partially opened go-gurt (yogurt tube) in the refrigerator. Noteworthy details The only noteworthy thing about this room/location is just how bad it is. Don't be like me and try to save your money and have to spend more on a different hotel. Just spend a little extra, there are a bunch of hotels in a relatively short distance from this location.

It was the worst place I have ever stayed! The place was falling apart switches hanging out of the walls and everything was dirty and dingy and the shower didn’t work and the tv didn’t work!
-
The TV wasn't working they said they have the tech look at it when he gets in around 3:00 that never happened. The main light was flickering they said it would repaired next day. That never happened. The tub and soap holder had black mold. The lights between the bed was coming off the wall. Could not hang clothes up because that was falling off the wall. Mosquitoes were coming in through the gap between the A/C unit and the edge of the window. Was scheduled to be there until Sunday morning I left Friday night because it was so bad.

Bathroom looked under construction. Broken down vehicles outside. Did not stay there and requested a refund.
-
Good for a couple nights. Priced right.
-
Very good
-
Staff was pleasant. A/C was old and noisy, one mattress needs replaced-worn out, needs major modernization.
-
Nothing The smell the sheets the bathroom odor- bought air freshener for the place- and the tv did not work

My wife wouldn’t stay and it was non refundable

I had booked a non-smoking room. I called previously to verify this. When I got there and finally located Ida, she said I was booked in a smoking room. She was able to rebook me in a (“remodeled”) non-smoking room, but my room still reeked of smoke and it doesn’t matter when it appears many residents are frequent/chain smokers. The cigarette smoke permeates everything and is drawn in thru the air conditioner as well. And if the room I received was “remodeled” I would hate to see the ones that weren’t! I am a camper, accustomed to roughing it, so I figured how bad could it be? BAD, mostly due to cigarette smoke. But there was black mold above the shower as well. I barely slept due to the pervasive cigarette smoke smell and developed a bad headache. I left at 4:00 a.m.

The entire property was in disrepair and dirty. Nothing looked like it had online. I took pictures of the unacceptable state of the room, and went back to the office to hand in the key cards. I immediately checked out and my husband and I found a room elsewhere in town. I have stayed at plenty of other Econo Lodge locations and have had positive experiences with the chain. I want to be clear that it being a budget option is not why I refused to stay there. Everything was bad from the unprofessional behavior of the desk associate to the disgusting state of the room.

Bed and AC is very nice. TV is nice and has good options. Secluded and quiet. Bathroom door will not shut (hinges must be messed up). Water from shower shoots out like a water gun, not super comfortable.
-
Carpet was grossly dirty. Dresser drawer was missing. Nightstand drawer bottom was broken. Room stunk of cigarettes and musty air. Toilet was dirty. Tub/shower was dirty and had mold on tiles. Bathroom door would not close.
