My wife wouldn’t stay and it was non refundable
-
I had booked a non-smoking room. I called previously to verify this. When I got there and finally located Ida, she said I was booked in a smoking room. She was able to rebook me in a (“remodeled”) non-smoking room, but my room still reeked of smoke and it doesn’t matter when it appears many residents are frequent/chain smokers. The cigarette smoke permeates everything and is drawn in thru the air conditioner as well. And if the room I received was “remodeled” I would hate to see the ones that weren’t! I am a camper, accustomed to roughing it, so I figured how bad could it be? BAD, mostly due to cigarette smoke. But there was black mold above the shower as well. I barely slept due to the pervasive cigarette smoke smell and developed a bad headache. I left at 4:00 a.m.

The entire property was in disrepair and dirty. Nothing looked like it had online. I took pictures of the unacceptable state of the room, and went back to the office to hand in the key cards. I immediately checked out and my husband and I found a room elsewhere in town. I have stayed at plenty of other Econo Lodge locations and have had positive experiences with the chain. I want to be clear that it being a budget option is not why I refused to stay there. Everything was bad from the unprofessional behavior of the desk associate to the disgusting state of the room.

Nothing Carpet was grossly dirty. Dresser drawer was missing. Nightstand drawer bottom was broken. Room stunk of cigarettes and musty air. Toilet was dirty. Tub/shower was dirty and had mold on tiles. Bathroom door would not close.

Good deal Nothing

The room was terrible. Unclean, lots of stain in the wall, and the carpet is sticky. The next day, I had skin rashes so there's probably bed bugs in the sheet as well. I would never stay in this Hotel again.

Hotel was overbooked unable to get a room. Confirmed reservation not accepted

Even though there was supposed to be One reason we chose to stay there Couldn't use the pool another reason we chose to stay there. No breakfast reason for staying there didn't know no breakfast till we tried to get some and we weren't late we went down at 7:30 am

So they gave us a second room with no water in the shower because it wasn't even hooked up! Then a bug was on the bed. We left and told the manager to refund our money.
-
What breakfast? Poor quality of room eg toilet paper roll/towel rack falling off wall. Not clean-long hair on edge of tub.

Nice staff. Helpful f any issues. Clean and comfortable room.
-
Single floor. Open room plan. Very accommodating. Room smelled of smoke. Noisy ac/heater unit. Loud neighbors or thin walls. No curtain in bathroom but had glazed window but still felt unnerving.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable. However, there were several school groups of teenagers all through the lobby and running between rooms, slamming doors, etc.. Finally at 1:30 in the morning I called the front desk. She said she was trying to handle the situation. Finakly on the third call, she said she called management and was not allowed to close the lobby where there were still app. 25 teenagers AND 3 adult "supervisors". We saw no end to the chaos leaving us no choice other than to check out an drive 2 hours home in the middle of the night. Went I told the poor woman at the front desk we were checking out, there were 3 police cars out front and the police were on the thgird floor investigating underage drinking and disorderly conduct. WHere were the school suprvisors. They obviously could have cared less and had no control over these high school sports team members. The front desk said that it was a group of students from La Salle High school. I even ran into one of the supervisors at the front desk and she was upset the hotel called the police!!! It was a disaster!!!
