Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Medford

There was no parking available around the building, so while parking was comped, we had to park in a ramp that was a couple blocks away. Pros: The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Walking distance to the subway. Perfectly sized rooms. Everything was clean and and prime location

Parking was limited. However, a garage across the street was easily accessible, and the hotel validated our ticket. Breakfast was adequate and staff hustled to keep items filled and stations clean.

Very nice stay and location

This was a very good fit for us. Rooms with two queens are a little small but the location is Amazing. Close to so many stores.

The hotel listed the pet fee $100 per stay on website and everywhere, but they charged me $100 per night and refused to refund the overcharges. So disappointed.

No complaints

We booked this hotel over others mainly due to its location however we did hope that there would be more to do ‘on site’ - the lovely photo of the fire made me think that this could be a relaxing area to sit with a drink from the bar. There is a bar there but it wasn’t functioning at any time during our stay and as such the only option on site for a relaxing drink was the neighbouring hotel that closed at 10:30pm

Great location and surrounding restaurants. There was a problem prompting the evacuation of the hotel. The hotel staff were amazing and how they handled the situation. Would definitely stay there again! nothing

The overall stay was perfectly fine. The only sour part of my stay was literally having to exit the property for a couple of hours right after I checked in due to an employee mixing chemicals. This caused a big damper on my vacation because we couldn’t get ready and had to miss a dinner reservation which got us charged by the restaurant. I’d be willing to come back for a future trip.

Good location to the T line

Love the clean linens, facilities, and very comfortable beds.

The room was clean when we arrived. Staff at desk was pleasant at check-in. Other than that, they didn’t acknowledge you coming or going. Our room was not cleaned in the 3 days we were there. We always reuse towels so that wasn’t an issue, but our trash can could have been emptied. Our stay was okay. Quiet area and it was close to a variety of restaurants.

The hotel itself was very nice. The complex it’s in was terrible. The area surrounding the hotel was very poorly designed and extremely confusing to drive around. Be careful.

Great location Amazing

We went out of power for a couple of hours but finally I was able to manage to be able to work anyway.

• Staff never told us at check-in that tidying, cleaning , and new towels and sheets were provided only every other day. • NO HOT WATER ALL DAY on Sat., Apr. 25, 2026. We had to ask at 7pm that night. It finally was available by 7:30pm. NO APOLOGIES by staff. • We were awakened on Sunday morning at 6pm by a fire drill and several fire engines and emergency vehicles. Apparently a toaster burned a bagel, causing smoke. NO APOLOGIES by staff. • Hanging closet space was only 9-inches wide. • There were no hooks for hanging jackets or other clothes in the bedroom or bathroom to supplement tiny hanging closet. • The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom. • Bathroom accessories other than in the shower, only included ½ bar of soap, small tube of lotion, and no shower caps or anything else. • On Sunday, we requested to the front desk that our room be made up by 1pm. They never told housekeeping who left for the day before 5pm. SOLUTION: WE REQUEST ONE NIGHT’S CREDIT ON OUR CREDIT CARD USED!!!

Nice hotel with a convenient location.

My out-of-town friend stayed in the room but I visited the hotel during her stay. My rating is due to observing the premises. Although I did not sleep there, my visits were enough to give the ratings. Also, during Christmas, my niece visited Boston from Charlotte and stayed there. Accommodations were great! I have no complaints but if you need to know a 'negative' side, the only issue was parking. We didn't realize that additional parking was inside the garage across the street.

Breakfast was fresh and hot each day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location of hotel was perfect for traveling in and out of downtown Boston. Restaurants within walking distance.
