Hyatt Place Boston/Medford

The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was ok but there was a thin hair or string in something I ate, and I took it out of my mouth with a napkin. I didn't expect this, so it was surprising. I don't know where it came from, but it wasn't from me.

Very friendly staff and comfortable.

There was upgrades happening while we were there so some noise in the building during the day and lots of trucks in the parking lot. I was very surprised to have to pay extra for parking. I can't remember the last time that wasn't included in a hotel stay. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of variety and plenty to chose from. The room was clean but we had issues with the shower door not staying closed so water got out onto the bathroom floor. We had our TV lose its connection which now we think was weather related but when we called the front desk they sent someone right away to come look at it. I appreciated that.

The Breakfast is ok. The AC was good.

Great Stay

Please tell the housekeepers who work on the first floor that don’t yelling and keep quiet on the morning. Thank you.

It was under construction at the time. We booked in Jan. So we didn’t know.

Wasn’t a great stay at all

unfortuely we are at 4th floor and crenovation at the fifth floor. So wake up every day 8am... We stayed for one week for Harvard graduation. But other are perfect. When you see my reviews, the construction must be over. We love this location, convienceand staff is working so hard and smile every day. closed to TUFTS . The price, is always good. Highway is 1 miutes away and can go everywhere. we will come back for sure

Charge for parking without communication, under construction, no ice machine,, elevator slow during day, noise during day, obnoxious smell of stained wood at night

The place is under renovation also do not stay in an odd number room as they face the highway and the noise makes sleeping difficult

It was very clean and in a good location. We found the layout of the room incorrectly used. So much unused space and yet the tiniest area used for the toilet and shower area. No dressers so there wasn't anywhere to store your clothes. Breakfast was nice. BUT the eggs and turkey bacon were terrible. Front desk staff was very nice. We also weren't too happy to find out the hotel was being renovated while we were there. There was water interruption for a little while but fortunately while we were sight seeing. I may have rethought our stay had we known that ahead of time

They are remodeling so our room was brand new & clean but it’s very noisy they should be discounting their room rates during construction.
