Comfort Inn Medford North

This is a good, solid value-priced hotel. It was the right match for my needs -- a clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep and start up the next morning during a three day drive from SE California to W Washington. I rate it 4/5 stars (good but not excellent): (1) As I've found at every Comfort Inn (and peer brands), there's always observable wear and tear that's equivalent to car "dings" (e.g. scrapes and dents in metals doors); an overall impression of clean but heavily used. (2) Decor like a few pictures on the walls would help make the guest room less sterile and generic. (3) It would be nicer to allow breakfasting guests a little time leeway rather than removing the breakfast items at 9:30 on the dot.

The front desk was friendly in greeting me when I arrived. She asked if I would mind being changed to a King bed vice 2 Queen beds. We were happy to see the blackout window covers. We enjoyed the Breakfast. A high point for me was the waffle maker. Of my stays at Comfort Inns over the last week this was the stiffest bed. Preference is for a softer bed. But we still slept well. Nothing else negative to report.

Trying to get to the hotel was so confusing. The air-conditioner was noisy sounded like a spaceship. Our neighbors next store were talking loud at 2am. I should of reported them. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was good.

Location infront of Fred Meyer and near to highway, good parking place, Rooms were super clean, utilities were well maintained, clean and fresh. Room size was very good, comfy king bed. Nice hot breakfast. A fresh out of oven cookie upon checkin was cherry on top. They didn't refill the breakfast, eggs and some other items were completed by 8:30 am.

The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. The room & breakfast were both decent. The biggest downside was the smell. The lobby, elevator, stairwell, hallway & room all smelled not so great. All in all not terrible for what we paid to pass through.

Not a great stay. The bathroom drywall was peeling and moldy, and the taps were very stiff and difficult to turn on. Most concerning, we developed multiple bites during our stay, which a doctor later confirmed were bed bug bites and required treatment with antibiotic ointment. Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Breakfast is very basic same as other hotels, yogurt , scrambled eggs in a flat pressed round disk, bacon, and cold cereal, waffle machine. very loud hotel. Had to put in ear plugs, and found a sound machine app for my phone to help me sleep. talking in room next door and down the hall, and TV sound through walls, water running in the pipes, doors closing from other rooms very loud.

The lobby was clean and bright . The room however was disgusting. The carpet was stained so bad I did not take my shoes off until I went to bed . The shower head was was nasty and no water pressure . The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall. They had a leak from the upstairs unit that leaked into the bathroom and it was just poorly patched . The toilet ran all night long. Light bulbs were burnt out . The smell of the room was off . We ended up leaving a day early and stayed and a very clean Holiday Inn. I will never stay at this location again

Exceptional

The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were severely lacking, which contributed to an awful stay. I would never consider returning to this hotel again. If you're looking for a pleasant experience, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Not really a fan of waffles but even if I was that was the only option. Therefore it was pretty popular. Had to ask them if there was going to be anymore breakfast. Let them know that they were getting quite the line of people wondering. They said they would, but it took forever.
