The first room was not clean. The staff was helpful and immediately changed our room. We stay 7 nights and all in all it was a very comfortable stay. In my opinion the food was not good.

Clean, well run property. The person who checked me in was professional and effecient. I went to the pool on my second day at the hotel and it was very clean and well maintained. I asked for an extra blanket for my room and was promptly helped. Mini fridge in the room came in very handy as I had bottled water I had purchased. The hotel is right of I-95 and great location to get on the highway right away. I will definitely frequent the hotel again if I come back to Melbourne. Thank you for a great experience!

Room setup and style of room

All was good, accomodations staff, and all involved

Room smelled musty, the bedding was very damp as we're the towels, and the air conditioner made sounds all night like water was being dumped in a pool. We arrived very late or I would have requested another room.

Property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great as well.

I was kinda sceptical at first because of price but was only staying for 1 night so we gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised to start the lady at check in was great wish I remembered her name the place was very nice and clean and was exactly what we needed would recommend to anyone

Nice property in a good location. Not too far from Cocoa and Kennedy, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good, nice little pool - but we didn't have time to use it. I did use the small gym. Not much in there, but ok for a quick workout. Only complaint, the shower wasn't very powerful.

You can tell that the place was kept up and hardly any signs of aging. Would definitely recommend.

I liked the location to a lot of amenities. The room was clean and property well maintained. I like the room I had on the top floor. I didn't like smelling marijuana one night outside at the entrance of the hotel. I wish there was a waffle maker for breakfast.

Due to flight changes, we got there passed midnight and the young lady at the desk was so pleasant and gave us extra towels on the spot so we could sleep in and not have to come back down. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

Everything was fantastic

On the first night, our hvac unit burned up at 3:30 am. The overnight attendant, young lady, acted quickly and moved us to a new room. That act alone could have earned Avid 5 stars. However, on the morning of checkout, a new desk attendant coldly denied our request for a noon checkout. She said I can only give you 30 minutes!!! We visit family in Melbourne on a regular basis, but we won’t stay there again or recommend Avid. You have two shining stars at that location—the young lady who moved us quickly and was very nice in the process. And the young lady managing breakfast on the morning of our checkout. She was super friendly and customer service oriented. Those two people should be commended. The manager of the property should do a better job of making sure rooms are ready for check-in. Like making sure the AC is working! Additionally, a major problem like we experienced should be noted and management should immediately make contact to offer any help for the remainder of a visitor’s stay. Like a noon checkout!

Water and drink station by the reception desk is convenient and thoughtful. Water station has plain and carbonated choice. Modern and smart design everywhere especially many hooks ,a big mirror , button control on blinds.

I arrived and my prepaid booking for two nights had been canceled with no explanation or record of the change. The hotel was full and my belief is that they sold my room away for a higher price due to my late arrival. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

Lovely to have breakfast every day.

This property is consistently clean and well organized. The room we had on the 4th floor did not have a smart TV. This is the first room I’ve stayed in at this hotel without one, and I was very disappointed.

very clean and the staff is very nice.

This has been the only hotel we’ve ever stayed in where you didn’t hear other guests or staff in hallways, no room doors slamming shut. It was so quiet it was unbelievable. Great choice and the BBQ restaurant next door has the best ribs I’ve ever eaten!
