Residence Inn by Marriott Melbourne

They were doing some major carpet cleaning before our arrival Unfortunately, the fifth floor smelled like sour milk had been spilled, smelled absolutely horrible. Luckily, the smell was not noticeable in our room #501. I reported this nasty smell to the front desk.

Staff are really nice, breakfast is adequate, rooms were very clean & comfortable. The pool was a bonus. The area is very quiet! Right across the street you have a publix very handy.

Immaculate room. Great staff. Good quality breakfast. The pool-patio area was lovely. We picked up food and wine at the Publix across the street and ate on the patio both nights.

Stayed here 2 nights before cruise. Great spot across from shopping mall including Publix grocery store and clothing stores. I think they had a dollar store too. Very convenient location. The Residence inn was good. Pool was very very cold. Their heater wasn’t working. I’m from Boston, have an unheated pool, and this was way too cold for us. Other patrons complained.

We had a very nice one night stay at The Residence Inn Marriott Melbourne. The hotel is very clean with a warm welcoming attendant at the front desk. The breakfast was very delicious too. Easy 5min uber drive to Downtown Melbourne for restaurants and bars.

All of these attributes were great.

Very nice but a bit expensive

The room was clean ice maker didn't work in the room.also one elevator was out of order the whole stay, very inconvenient. Our first room the AC was broken Shana at the front desk immediately moved us to a new room. Then check to make sure all was well.After we came back from supper she gave us a bag of ice. She was so professional and nice. She deserves commendations.

The room was clean and well appointed. Comfy bed, shower head was on point!

Love the full kitchen, complete with a full size fridge, sink, electric cooktop, dishwasher, and cabinets with plates, bowls, silverware, pots, and pans; the kitchen even had dishwashing liquid and sponge, as well as a dishwasher pod. For the price, this suite is a fantastic value!
